"I was driving towards Downtown Lee's Summit after work last night when I saw a very large and low flying craft with three red lights on each side and several blue lights on it moving very slowly in a North direction. It was the size of a large cargo plane. I could not see any wings or tail and there was absolutely no sound. I called my buddy and he saw the same thing from a different location (his report is filed). I will submit a drawing. I did not have a camera with me at the time."

Note: The witness was at work while I spoke to him and he didn't have much time to talk.

"I was driving North on Woods Chapel Road in Lee's Summit while heading home from work and saw people stopped and looking up. I stopped at a stop sign and saw a huge craft with multiple green, white, and blue circlular shaped lights on the bottom of it come directly over my head. The lights were all on the bottom in a triangular shape. The size was enormous. To give you an idea for the size - it filled up the entire windshield of my car. It was moving very slowly in a North direction towards the small Lee's Summit airport. That airport is too small for large planes to land. I see planes in the area all the time but this was not normal. A co-worker of mine saw it too. It was flying very low. At first we thought it was a large plane, but it did not look like a plane at all. After it turned towards the airport, it slowed for one minute, then contineud North, which was left of our position, and it went out of sight. I am sending a drawing to the investigator."

I was driving from the UMKC campus after my night class at 8:10-8:15 on Emanuel Cleaver Blvd along Brush Creek. I had just past Gates BBQ at The Paseo headed north/east towards Raytown. I saw about a 1-2 miles away a V shaped aircraft with several orange lights VERY close to the tree line. They were not blinking. It did not appear to move like a normal airplane, it hovered. I first thought it was a large jumbo jet making an emergency landing in the location of 350 highway near 435. But the distance from where I was to where the object was made it too big to be a commercial plane. I continued to drive north/east on Emanuel Cleaver hoping I'd see it closer but I lost sight of it in the trees once I passed 71 highway. I used to live near Whiteman AFB when I was in college and would see B2 bombers and other military planes, this was nothing like I'm used to. It was too big.

When I got home my fiance told me he had seen something odd in the sky in Independence where we live. He was on 39th street near the Independence Center. He saw the aircraft hovering in the sky around 7:40-7:50 over 470/291 towards the Bass Pro shopping area (west direction). He said it was V-shaped with and had lots of blinking lights. He thought it was a plane but it moved too slow and circled around to much. He said at one point it went vertical and hovered then broke into three parts.

It kind of freaked me out that he saw the exact same object and told me about it before I said anything to him about what I had seen. That just struck us both as odd and not normal. Hence why I'm submitting this report. I've seen other reports through MUFON on a blog and those reports are similar to ours.

I would definately like to know if the military is testing an object over civilian areas without informing us or if this really is what I believe it is.

i was looking out my laundry window facing east. i was talking on the phone and saw the object. it looked like the stealth bomber because of the shape. It was a large triangle with white and green lights pulsing. the object appeared to be on its side. so i walked to my back door to take a look outside and by then it was gone. i thought to myself, if it was the stealth i could hear it. since i have heard the stealth fly over many times before. there was no noise. i stood there for a moment and a helicopter flew by coming from southeast going northwest. i noticed the helicopter was much higher than the object. i have no idea what it was.

Was driving North on Todd George Road approaching 350 Hwy in Lee's Summit at approximately 7:50PM (best guess on my part, did not look at my clock). Saw out of my windshield what I thought was a large airplane with numerous lights (did not count how many, but best guess is 6 large blinking lights, with smaller non blinking lights in between...perhaps a total of 12) flying extremely low and without much speed. Very first thought (because of the size and how low it was) that perhaps a commercial jet was attempting some kind of emergency landing (quickly ruled that out). Next thought was that it was perhaps a few different smaller aircraft flying in formation, perhaps practicing at night for an airshow or flyby of Arrowhead Stadium (quickly ruled that out as well because of speed, appeared to be almost hovering, or simply going extremely slow). At that point, because of the speed, I assumed it must be helicopters; ruled that out because of how close they would have to be flying to one another, and the fact that I could not hear any noise whatsoever. Furthermore, at this point it was close enough that it seemed to be one solid object (although I freely admit my mind could have been playing tricks on me). The object was coming in from the North, flying South...again, extremely slow, and blatantly obvious, I don't see how it could have been missed by anyone that happened to be outside or driving at that time. The object then turned West and appeared (to me anyways) to break up into three separate pieces for a few moments, then join back together.

I am typically a very skeptical person by nature. From a rational standpoint my assumption is not that this was any kind of extraterrestrial craft coming to visit the Kansas City area, but rather one of two things:

1. Either this was a group of (somehow silent) helicopters, with absolutely the most insane pilots on the face of the earth for deciding to fly and maneuver as close as possible to one another. Or...

2. This was some kind of experimental aircraft, convincing me that the U.S. military has developed what I would consider the coolest and most awe inspiring aircraft in their fleet yet (blows the stealth out of the water).

Regardless, whatever it was, I could not identify, and felt intrigued enough to think about it all night long, and find a place on the web where I could report it this afternoon(and read other individuals descriptions as well)

I also observed the "carnival ride" sighting in Lees Summit. The actual cause was a group of small planes flying in tight formation. Each plane had about 6 lights and made quite a sight. I live right next to the Lees Summit regional airport and the planes were landing and taking off from there.

My granddaughter & I was headed to 3rd & Ward about 7:55pm on Oct 4, 2011. I saw a line of lights that were very long & straight across. They were not blinking. I thought it was an airplane, as I approached the object I realized it was not a plane. I stopped just before the intersection of 3rd & Ward it was right above me. It just hovered there. I had the windows down & there was no sound from it. I reached to open the sunroof but it would not open I pushed the button several times, it hesitated each time I pushed the button, I could hardly get the sunroof to open. I just sat there staring at the object as it stayed above me. My granddaughter kept asking me "What is it granny? Granny, what is it" all I could say is, "I don't know" I couldn't take my eyes off of it. I couldn't move to reach my cell phone to take a picture I was just froze sitting there looking at it. As it was above me I could see the shape of a triangle. There were lights that outlined the shape. It began to move forward so I too began to move I turned right on Ward then turned into Papa Murphys pizza parking lot. I watched it moved slowly over the building. While in the building a woman came in, I asked her if she saw it and she said she did not, but she was in the grocery store, Hy-Vee, across the street & when she came out there were people standing in the parking lot looking up at the sky & she wondered what they were looking at. After about 5 minutes we came out & looked for it, at that time a helicopter flew over us. We got back in the car, we started to drive west on Ward to the outer road across 3rd street. As we were driving we saw it again moving west along 50 Hwy along 470 Hwy we pulled over to watch it. It moved out of sight for a moment then we saw it again moving I believe East. My granddaughter & I were totally freaked out. When I arrived home I called the police dept to ask them what I had seen in the sky. The dispatcher told me they had not received any calls that I was the only one to call it in. I had seen sightings before. One in Piedmont, MO about 30 years ago and the other in Warrensburg, MO about 15 years ago. I tried to report the one in Piedmont but I guess I didn't contact the right people and the other I did not report.

My family and I were driving home around 8pm. We saw this object that had shape of stealth bomber that had green and white lights hovering over the hiway. At first I told my husband and children that I thought it was a blimp, but as we got closer it was doing weird maneuvers. We turned around to get closer and by the time we got close enough it shot if like a rocket. There was another object in sky that it flew over and the light on it was a white very bright light. I then called my father(retired navy) to ask him if stealth bombers hover and have gen and white less and he said no. he said that it might be a harrin. So I looked it up and it didn't look like it either. So what was it that I saw??? - MUFON CMS

It's becoming the most famous, and controversial lawn mower in North Carolina. A homeowner, just wanting to pull a little Halloween prank, created a scene that prompted at least one call to 911 and thousands of hits on web sites across the world.

The Halloween decor at a home along Organ Church Road in eastern Rowan County scared a driver so much that he called 911, nearly prompting a full emergency response.

The call came into the county's 911 Communication Center Monday morning after the caller stated that he saw what appeared to be a man trapped under a riding lawn mower.

Luckily, someone else quickly let the 911 folks know it was a decoration, just in time to stop what would have been an emergency response.

As seen in the pictures taken Monday by WBTV, the scene does appear realistic. The blood covered arms and legs stick out from beneath a blood spattered lawn mower on a large patch of grass.

Chris Deaton's Halloween display has been getting another response around town, and it's been a big one...

"It's something to talk about around town," said Wendy Bethea, the clerk on duty at Cheesman's Store. "I've had a couple customers talking about it, being out there."

And online, the story has hit CNN, the Daily Mail in the UK, and it's gotten lots of comments on wbtv.com, most questioning whether the macabre decoration goes too far.

"I think it's harmless, I think it's fun, Halloween," Bethea added.

That's what most seem to say, others think a Happy Halloween sign would have made it better...or maybe just some more calm and sedate, like the gruesome scenes on Faith Road.

Chris Deaton wasn't available today. His mother told WBTV that he had the same decoration up close to the house last year, but decided to move it to the road this year.

He has been amused at all the attention it has gotten.

Reuters news partner TheWrap published an article back in August about an upcoming documentary titled Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond. The article reported that the Mexican government had released state-held secrets about the end of the Mayan calendar to the filmmakers. And when asked if the movie would mention extraterrestrials, the response given by the filmmakers was simply, “Everything is going to come out in time, but I can’t comment on aliens or on 2012.” But according to a new article published by TheWrap today, this documentary will also provide evidence that the Mayans had contact with extraterrestrials.

Raul Julia-Levy, the film’s producer stated, “Mexico will release codices, artifacts and significant documents with evidence of Mayan and extraterrestrial contact, and all of their information will be corroborated by archaeologists.” Additionally, Luis Augusto Garcia Rosado, the minister of tourism for the Mexican state of Campeche, told TheWrap that new evidence has emerged showing “contact between the Mayans and extraterrestrials, supported by translations of certain codices, which the government has kept secure in underground vaults for some time.”

The Guatemalan government is also involved with this film. While they aren’t offering up any information about extraterrestrials, they are giving filmmakers access to previously classified artifacts and newly discovered prophecies. Guatemala’s minister of tourism, Guillermo Novielli Quezada, said his country is working with the filmmakers on this documentary “for the good of mankind.”

Hi, Lon: Thanks for posting the article from Moody's book about Elvis helping a GA policeman find his runaway son, after Elvis had died. I also had an amazing experience in which Elvis appeared a few years ago (which was why I was interested in reading about the GA man), and in my case I've got photos of Elvis's presence to back it up. But my experience involves somebody else also, and it was so outrageous I haven't yet figured out whether to make it public....although I and the other person involved have been talking about writing the incident up (and several others like it) in the not too far distant future.

The other person involved is the young Dutch "medium" Robbert van den Broeke, about whom I've been writing and lecturing for several years (http://www.bltresearch.com/robbert.php). My initial interest in Robbert is that he is, so far as is known, the only person in the world who "knows" (accurately) when and where new crop circles are forming in his area of southern Holland. It was this aspect of the events around Robbert which led to my being interested in him, since my primary focus is the crop circle phenomenon.

Which he did, with highly anomalous photos once again (in this case with Robbert using HER camera and her standing right next to him, watching his every move).

Hope you find the material of interest. I know of no other case like this one anywhere--with such wide-ranging types of events going on for 17 years now, documented with thousands of photos. It is because of what I've seen while with Robbert that I must now conclude that many (if not all) of the anomalous events humans have labeled as if they were separate situations are, in fact, simply different aspects of one big UNKNOWN. One that is directly related to consciousness, both ours and quite possibly somebody or something else's.

Dear Lon: I had decided not to write you about the booms I heard in September in Decatur, Georgia, but after your second post on the subject this week, I thought I would let you know that I, too, heard them here.

I told a friend of mine in Florida of the experience and now have sent her your posts on same.

Here in Decatur, I only heard them while it was raining. I got the feeling the entity who was making them was trying to disguise them as thunder. However, they sounded nothing like thunder (although thunder sounds were accompanying them). They actually sounded like a canon going off. I can't tell you how many times I heard them, but it was at least 10 times.

I know what a canon sounds like as I attended football games of Texas Tech and each time they scored, they fired a canon.

The way they did it was to wait until there was a thunder peal (and not a loud one either ) and during the rumble that caused, would "fire this canon" at least 2 or 3 times and have the sound partially covered up by the rumbling of the "real" thunder, if that was real thunder, which it didn't really sound legitimate either.

I have no idea what this all means, just that it certainly sounded man made.

If you have any information on this phenomena, I would appreciate a answer from whatever source you find.
