Unexplained Black-Eyed People Encounters

I'm a 26 year old mom/wife and I work at a theater in Tennessee. I actually drive an hour to work because I love living in Knoxville, but the theater I work at is a big tourist destination in Pigeon Forge. Anyway, this happened to me about 3 years ago at work. Because we have so many tourists, we have a timeshare booth that guests can visit. Annoying, I know. They have their own employees, and a lot of them rotate in and out or quit soon after because the job sucks.

I was working night shift and we were about an hour away from seating the show. I was a clerk at this time, (I'm a manager now), and I was on my way back from break. I am approaching the ticket counter to go into the staff entrance, and I notice this super tall, super skinny woman was talking to my co-worker. I'm 4'11", so a lot of people seem tall to me, but this lady had to be pushing 6'. I noticed that my co-worker looked uncomfortable, so I stopped to see if everything was OK. I walked up to the window, and this lady immediately turns around to face me. I stopped dead in my tracks, and my heart skipped a beat. She had what looked like solid black, watery eyes. They were the normal shape and everything, a little smaller than mine, but I couldn't see any white at all.

I immediately understood why my friend seemed so uneasy. I also noticed that this woman had the timeshare uniform on, and she looked very professional. She had reddish/blondish hair that was very dried out, like she had damaged it in some way. She smiled at me and started talking. The look she gave me was very predatory, kind of like a shark. That's how it made me feel, anyway. She said, "Wow you must have to be super attractive to work here because you are beautiful." Then she smiled at me some more, never looking away. I didn't know what to say to her, so I just excused myself and went in the office.

I felt very shaken, especially because she continued watching me until I was out of sight. I had just learned about black eyed kids, but I had never heard of a black eyed adult. I approached my friend and asked her if she had ever heard of the black eyed kids. She said she had but didn't say much else after that. I didn't see the woman for the rest of my shift.

I got off work around 11 pm, so the parking lot was clear other than a few random cars when I left. It was dark, but there are several lights in the parking lot, so I don't usually get nervous going to my car alone. I couldn't believe what I saw when I got outside, however. There she was again, but this time she was with a group of her fellow employees just gathered around a single car at the beginning of the lot. I passed them, and they all immediately looked at me. She was the only one with black eyes, but they were dead silent, and they all turned their heads together to watch me walk to my car, get in, and drive away. She never stopped smiling at me, and they never stopped looking at me until I turned onto the main road. I never saw them actually talk to each other.

This experience has been on my mind ever since, and I don't know what to make of it. I haven't seen the woman since. F

This account involves my Aunt Rose in Medford, Oregon. One day she gets the knock at the door and it's two little girls, dressed like 'Little House on the Prairie' and they've got an antique baby buggy with little dolls in it. My Aunt Rose asked the girls if they were okay, and they asked for water to drink. My Aunt Rose ASKED THEM IF THEY WANTED TO COME INSIDE! They said no, could they just have some water to drink. So she goes back inside, grabs two bottles of water from the fridge, returns and gives them the water bottles. The girls then proceed to guzzle the water like hungry wolves. My aunt turns from the baby buggy, where she was doting on the dolls, and sees them doing this, tells them they can just take the water with them, and that surprises the girls greatly. They say okay and wander back down the long driveway from my aunt's house. My aunt closes the door, then thinks "those girls could have been angels," reopens the door and they are gone, just gone. And this is a long driveway too, quite unlike other houses on that street. She asked around the neighborhood after that and nobody knew of the girls or had seen them. I asked her if she knew what Black Eyed Kids were, and she said no. I asked if their eyes were normal and she said no, they were all black. BD

My mom owns a salon in Philadelphia suburbia Pennsylvania. I have been working for her since she opened and am usually with her Wednesday's through Saturday. Ever Saturday we have an older woman come in we will call her Ethel. Ethel usually washes her own hair and sets it then come in to have it teased. It's literally a $4 service and seems weird but she there every week for the same thing. I've never gotten a weird vibe from her and have spent years talking to this woman.

So a few years ago I left work early with her closing up the day. I felt safe knowing mom had only one more client and it would be no big deal. She's only there for a max of 10 minutes. As I get home I get a call from my mom shaken up but not terrified.

She goes on to tell me that as she was doing Ethel's hair, then she uncharacteristically turned around and looked at my mom. When their eyes met she said they were completely black. No whites at all. She slowly turned back around and as mom looked into the mirror her eyes were normal again.

It hasn't happened again it this was the first time I heard of it. And I honestly dismissed it for the most part until I came across humanoid encounters that led me here.

Now I believe I'll will stay late just to see Ethel and speak with her. FF

Huge Black Bat-Winged Entity Observed by Multiple Witnesses in Rosemont, Illinois

I recently received the following information from Manuel Navarette at UFO Clearinghouse:

Sighting Description:

We were staying at the Edward Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois for a wedding we were attending that was being held at the hotel. During the reception and dance, I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and get away from all the noise for a few minutes. I took a walk toward the parking lot smoking and checking my phone when I heard a loud scream. It sounded like a woman screaming so I looked up in the direction of where the scream was coming from hoping it wasn’t really a woman in danger. Next to the parking lot is a large field with some trees but mostly a large, vacant lot. I used my cell phone’s flashlight to light the way and saw nothing except darkness. I walked over to the gravel path between the parking lot and the field, toward where my car was parked. That is when I heard something like wings flapping and something flew right over the top of me, about maybe 7-10 feet above me. I could have easily thrown a rock and hit it as it flew over me and away.

This thing was at least 6 feet tall and was solid black with large wings. It looked like a giant sized bat as it flew over the top of me. It was all black and kind of stuck out against the lights of the parking lot and the lights from around the area including the gas station across the street. Three other people saw it as well, including a couple who were walking across the parking lot as I heard them exclaiming about it. It flew toward the expressway and the BP gas station, this whole time it was screeching loud and flapping its wings hard like it was trying to gain height. When I lost sight of it, it was about the height of the billboard across the street still shrieking away.

Now I know I had been drinking during the wedding and was a little buzzed when I walked outside, but I was as sober as a judge after seeing this thing. It was unnatural and was pretty much the scariest thing I ever did see, but I know for a fact that I saw it and those other people saw it.

Investigator Notes:

I spoke to the witness over the weekend over the phone.

The witness states that he and his girlfriend were attending a mutual friend's wedding reception when he decided to step outside and smoke a cigarette. He stated when he first heard the screaming, it sounded almost like a woman in distress which make him look around to see if anyone needed help. He stated that as he walked along the gravel path, smoking and looking around and that is where he heard the sound of flapping. The witness said is sounded like when geese flap their wings only louder and deeper. It was then that he saw the entity fly over his head at a height of about a height of about 7 feet above his head. He said the creature was solid black, but still reflected light from the street lamps in the parking lot and the surrounding area. He stated that it looked like a giant bat, stating that there was no other way to describe what it looked like. When asked if he saw any red eyes or other distinguishing features, the witness stated that he did not.

The witness state that it was moving too fast for him to pick out any features other than the general description he gave. He did state that there are at least three other witnesses who saw the entity when it overflew the parking lot but he did not talk to them. The witness did state that he had been drinking alcohol during the reception but that he was not impaired in any way and that he could not have misidentified anything else that might have been in the area. The witness stated that he has heard geese and the sound the entity was making was completely different than the honking made by geese. I asked him to please describe the sound and he said it was a cross between a woman screaming and an animal growling. When asked what kind of animal, he stated it sounded like a mountain lion.

The witness did say that the creature did gain altitude very quickly and when it faded out of sight, it was over the nearby expressway and about the height of the billboard it had passed. The entity was still making the screeching noise and could still be heard as it went out of sight. When asked about flight characteristics, the witness did add that the creature had two short legs that it kept then straight behind him as he was in flight, therefore making it look like a bat in flight. When asked what he did after the sighting, he said he went back inside and told his girlfriend who dismissed it as him seeing a crane or other large bird. They rejoined the reception and the rest of the night was uneventful. When asked if he had tried to take video or a picture, the witness said that he was in shock and that he did not reach for his phone.

Williamsport, PA is no stranger to visitors, especially during the Little League World Series. However, back in February of 1992, there was a series of strange sightings over Williamsport from visitors that may not have come from this world.

“Were you among hundreds of area residents who appear to have experienced a close encounter with the ‘Galaxy’ last night?” the Williamsport Sun-Gazette asked in its Feb. 6, 1992, edition.

That’s because multiple unusual lights and objects were seen over the area from people as far north as Trout Run and as far south as Selinsgrove. Initial reports had some speculating that the lights were the product of a large military aircraft such as a C-5A, or “Galaxy.”

Stan Gordon, director of the state chapter of the Mutual UFO Network, said he received “a stack of letters 8 inches thick” about the sightings. He said most described the objects “as triangular or boomerang in shape.”

One witness reported seeing “four bright, white lines spaced far apart in a row and hearing a ‘rumbling’ sound.” Other witnesses said the objects “rumbled low enough over area homes to rattle the glass in some windows,” the newspaper reported.

An article about the incidents appeared in MUFON’s official publication, the “MUFON Journal.” MUFON investigator Samuel Greco, a retired Air Force officer, wrote that a “major UFO wave which had occurred about 1800 to 1900 hours in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania” on Feb. 5, 1992.

Greco said that “seven of these (sightings) had taken place in Williamsport or its suburbs. Two sightings were observed in or near the borough of Linden which is situated on Route 220 West. One took place near Cogan Station on Route 15 North.” He went on to say that persons from Union County, Lewisburg, Northumberland County and Selingsgrove also saw these unique visions.

Witnesses that saw these unusual lights were described by Greco as “working-class people” such as “managers, factory workers, mechanics, nursing assistant, home health service worker, hospital unit desk clerk, college student, housewives and retirees.” He furthered described them as being of “good character, honest, religious, sincere in what they said, not given to exaggeration, and they were able to describe what was seen clearly and factually.”

“They were not interested in telling their story for publicity or profit and they did not want their names released to the public. Their desire was simply to tell their story to someone knowledgeable about the UFO phenomenon,” Greco said.

That was the experience of the newspaper, whose reporter spoke to multiple witnesses who wanted to share what they saw but did not want their names in the paper.

Greco went on to explain that most of the incidents followed a similar pattern.

“First the sighting began while the witnesses were in the house attending to various household activities. Next a loud or heavy rumbling noise was heard over the house which shook or vibrated the house and rattled its windows. Then one of the witnesses would leave the house to investigate the cause of the noise and, having discovered the UFO in the evening sky, would call the other witnesses to view the object,” Greco said.

Gordon, who worked with Greco, agreed. He said in a recent telephone interview that “most witnesses tend to be persons not seeking publicity, and they tend to be credible people.”

These incidents had many of the same characteristics of UFOs seen over the Hudson Valley area of New York in the 1980s. Investigator Linda Zimmermann detailed the sightings in her 2013 book, “In the Night Sky.”

“The craft in the Hudson Valley were also very large triangular, boomerang-shaped craft,” Zimmermann said in a recent telephone interview. “But there is a very startling difference. Whereas the craft over the Hudson Valley would be silent, for some reason, the Williamsport ones were incredibly loud.”

Greco described it as “the rumble of a heavily loaded freight train, to the rumble of Niagara Falls, to the rumble of a snow plow plowing the street, or to the noise of a loud diesel engine truck.”

“The noise was unique in two aspects: first, when it was over the house it shook or vibrated the house and caused the windows to rattle; secondly, in all but one sighting, the witnesses did not hear a noise approaching until it was heard directly over the house,” she said, noting that was very curious.

“That is very unusual, and 99 percent of the stories describe the craft as silent,” Zimmermann said.

Zimmermann said the idea of it being a Galaxy military aircraft was impossible. An aircraft such as that could not hover over the homes like a helicopter could, she said.

“This does not mesh with what so many witnesses were saying was moving very slowly directly over their heads,” she said.

When asked if she had any idea about the origins of the craft, whether it be extraterrestial or extradimensional.

“I can’t say because both are possibilities. They are coming from somewhere, whether it be another part of the universe or another dimension. How can we say for sure?” Zimmermann said.

However, Zimmermann said that many people who experience that type of encounter go through a certain trauma.

“I ask witness how it has changed them. Some people are affected by it for the better, and others are not,” she said.

Greco agreed that this sort of encounter changes lives.

Bigfoot / Military: Growls & Rocks Thrown at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma

“I was stationed at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma for two years, and while I was on field guard duty on a line of self-propelled Howitzers. At approximately 03:30 hrs I was approaching the east end of said line, I was growled at and had a softball sized rock thrown at me when I tried to get whomever it was to identify who they were. I was growled at again so loud and deep that on top of my body vibrating. I could feel my M16A1 weapon vibrating as well. While backing up slowly to get to the tent, to find the other guard to make sure he was okay, and to report the incident to the Commander of the relief. The other guard experienced a similar encounter. We talked it over and decided not to. We didn't want to have them think that we were crazy.” MB

Ft. Lewis Bigfoot Tracks

I was stationed there (Ft. Lewis, WA) many years ago. We were set up in the woods, deployed, with tents adjacent to Highway 7. I was on guard duty that night and didn't get relief, FUBAR, someone forgot.

Anyway, I needed to go to the bathroom and decided to go off into the woods with my shovel. There was snow on the ground and as I went by our tent into the woods, there were large footprints that walked up through the snow and the berry runners (like small blackberry plants, close to ground). The footprints walked up to the tent, then went back into the woods.

Anyway, the footprints had toe prints. They were not the so called "Mickey Mouse" overboots they gave us.

There are a lot of woods there. They did live fire exercises, at least when I was there, shooting artillery into the hillside (we were actually camped one time right up from that hillside and we were quite alarmed to be camped there, you never know if someone miscalculates where a shell ends up landing!

I can't tell you what I saw. I can only speculate. I was really into Bigfoot for a long time before that and was pretty familiar with the footprint casts and such that have been made. PP
