"The figure behind her appeared to be wearing suspenders and possibly plaid, and was probably no taller than 5'7", while the others seemed quite a bit larger and taller."
Tualatin, Oregon - February 2003 - night
As the witness's boyfriend lay sleeping in bed, she got up to use the bathroom. After leaving the bathroom, she decided to walk out to the living room and have a cigarette before trying to go back to sleep. The apartment was pitch black, with no windows except in the bedroom, which was covered with blinds and curtains. The living room had a sliding glass door to a balcony right alongside the main door, also completely closed off with a drape.
As she walked down the hallway toward the front of the living room, she sensed someone approaching behind her. Assuming it was her boyfriend trying to scare her, she continued down the hall. After a couple more steps, she quickly glanced back and was stunned by what appeared to be an outline of a figure with a faint glow around it. She could see the bedroom door behind it. Looking straight ahead, she continued walking but stopped in her tracks as she reached the end of the hallway, where it branched off to either the kitchen or the dining room or straight ahead to the living room. She felt as though something was standing in front of her. Afraid to look up, she glanced back again and saw the same outline as before, only more defined. There seemed to be an actual being there, glowing all around. She quickly turned back toward the living room, sensing not only one presence in front of her and another behind but also from the dining room and the kitchen. She felt trapped by four separate beings. The more she felt and saw them, the more they began to take shape.
The figure behind her appeared to be wearing suspenders and possibly plaid, and was probably no taller than 5'7", while the others seemed quite a bit larger and taller. Throughout this, she felt a wind moving around at the end of the walkway, despite there being no open windows. She could also hear what sounded like unintelligible whispering. During all this, she tried to look away and reach for the light switch on the kitchen entry directly behind her along the hallway wall she was leaning on. It felt as if the presences were forcing her to the floor. She managed to turn on the light; as soon as she did, the room seemed to return to normal. It wasn't cold or windy. Her boyfriend had been sound asleep the entire time.

NOTE: This incident is similar to a haunting, aside from the 'glowing.' Unique encounter. Lon
