4:01
thanks for joining me this evening it's a pleasure to be here
4:08
well we finally got you on we had a little bit of trouble but we're here so
4:13
um go ahead technical difficulties but yeah well you
4:18
know you know tech tech doesn't seem to uh cooperate many times but uh we're
4:25
we're here so first of all how how did you get started in all this i am
4:30
interested i you know I have quoted you on many occasions you've been around doing this for almost 30 years I suppose
4:38
isn't that been Isn't that right decades yeah decades that's safe
4:45
i'm 61 in terms of me getting started in the field of Bigfooting
4:51
uh I was about 10 years old and like everyone else I saw the movie well not
4:57
like everyone else but like many young boys I happened to see the movie The
5:02
Legend of Boggy Creek at a walk-in theater and uh like I've said many times
5:07
before it hit me like a ton of bricks because the narrator of the movie was
5:13
kind of presenting this like it was for real and I I just thought it was a monster movie based in Arkansas and uh
5:22
they called it the Falcon Monster and uh kind of scratched my head a little bit and I wasn't was kind of on the fence as
5:30
to you know is this for real or is this not for real and uh one thing led to another and uh sure enough I found my
5:37
way over to the Norwok Public Library uh the town I grew up in and uh we kind of
5:44
figured out uh what the FA monster was and I guess the lady the librarian said
5:49
probably Bigfoot Sasquatch stuff and so that's how I got immersed in the subject
5:55
matter at the young age of 10 and I've been going strong ever since
6:00
wow well you you kind of parallel me in a you kind of paralleled me in a bit
6:05
because I was the same way i didn't really know much about Bigfoot at all until I had an encounter and that kind
6:10
of did it right there for me and you know I've been hit I got hit with the bug right away so um yeah I I I know you've been
6:19
around doing this quite a many years in fact I think I met you back in
6:24
1996 at the BC uh Sasquatch Symposium i think you were
6:30
actually the the presenter there i was I was the uh master of ceremonies there at
6:38
at that uh Sasquatch Forums in British Columbia so I was there if I met you
6:43
it's been a long time and I apologize for forgetting you well we've all changed a whole lot so you probably
6:51
don't remember me too well um so the book itself now I haven't read the book
6:56
yet i'm going to order it from you because I do want to look at it um I I did listen a little bit to your
7:02
interview with uh with Cliff and Bobo um couple from a couple months ago uh how
7:10
did you how did you collect all this information and I know some of the
7:15
photographs are something that have not been shown before give me the uh give me the nexus of you actually getting
7:23
involved with doing this book well let's go back to Bigfoot at Bluff Creek the booklet and so I published
7:30
that self-published that in 1994 and actually in 1992 was the 25th
7:37
anniversary of the Patterson Gimlin film so I wanted to do something but I wasn't
7:43
sure what I wanted to do and it ended up being a booklet that was about 23 pages
7:48
long and I enlisted the help of the people that were living at the time uh Dr grover CR John Green Renee Dehinden
7:57
uh Bob Gimlin uh and Bob Titnas as well and back then
8:03
they were very vibrant very much alive on the 25th anniversary and for whatever
8:08
reason uh 92 turned into 94 and that's when it
8:14
was originally published and then in 2003 I republished it and it sold like
8:20
hotcakes at the International Bigfoot Symposium in Willow Creek California September 2003 and so what you're seeing
8:27
there on the screen is Bigfoot at Bluff Creek original booklet so on the 50th anniversary I was
8:35
I wanted to do something more and then in between all of this time just imagine
8:41
a fellow by the name a researcher by the name of George Hos who was one of the pioneer Bigfoot researchers living in
8:48
Oakland California and so he got old and he passed on and he was one of the original
8:56
collectors and he turned all over turned over his files to a fellow by the name of Warren Thompson and I think around
9:04
2013 he passed away and so when he passed away he turned over all his files
9:09
to me and so that's why I now have the largest files on the planet but within
9:16
that collection George Hos was with John Green on June 23rd 1968 when they back
9:24
went back to the Patterson Gimlin film site because John Green felt they wanted to do he felt he wanted to do a
9:32
recreation film of where Patty was walking using Jim McLaren who's still
9:39
living as his standin model because Jim McLaren in boots was about six feet 5 in
9:45
tall very tall individual i met him once in 2003 and lo and behold when they get to
9:51
the Patterson Gimlin film site the remains of the footprints were still evident in the ground and you had Okay
10:00
so you opened your eyes so that's from October of ' 67 to June of 68 and you
10:06
said well that's impossible that is not impossible because George Hos photo
10:13
documented the remains of the footprints and they put when they saw the remains
10:18
of the footprints they put toilet paper in there with rocks at top them so they could see the trackway which was plainly
10:24
visible and some of those photos are in my Bigfoot at L Creek pictorial
10:31
discussion and so and let me add to that a fellow a researcher by the name of
10:37
Steven Struford actually did his own experiment at Bluff Creek on the sandbar
10:42
where Patty was walking and he left uh a good indentation bootprint in the sand
10:49
there the sandy soil and I think more than a year later it was still you could still visibly see
10:56
that footprint and that that soil in that area is what the Forest Service
11:03
calls blue goo because when you take pictures of it with maybe more with film
11:08
than rather than digital photography it has a blue tint to it and that's from
11:14
the ser the the the serpentine mineral that's in the soil and that soil just
11:21
has remarkable properties of holding tracks together long after the fact you
11:27
would think that when Patty was there in October of ' 67 that the next rainstorm
11:33
maybe weeks later the tracks would be gone that was not the case it in June of
11:39
' 68 the remnants of the tracks were still visible and George Hos uh when he
11:46
was there saw the trackway himself in person and he picked up three rocks
11:51
inside one of the tracks where Petty had walked and he took those home as souvenirs so when he passed away those
11:59
went to Warren Thompson when Warren Thompson passed away those came to my collection so they're the only three
12:06
small rocks that Patty is known to have stepped on and a photo of them is in my
12:12
book Bigfoot at Buck Creek a pictorial discussion interesting interesting
12:19
ah well let me ask you this um when you first got acquainted with
12:26
the PG film uh what what was your first impressions of it
12:32
my first impression was I didn't know what to make of it because you saw the
12:37
subject bouncing around the screen all over the place you know and and so what
12:43
I did is I eventually took my father's 8 millimeter movie camera and filmed the
12:49
PG film on a commercial advertisement right off the television and I took that film and
12:56
developed it and put it in in the our the hallway in the home that I grew up in closed all the doors and projected it
13:04
on on the the white door so I could see it better and slow it down because the
13:09
projector we had had the slow-mo feature so I could see it better and as I
13:15
started to have this uh study session of the film early on
13:20
with what was available to me just filming it off the television in a in a
13:27
commercial setting uh I became more confident in the film and it didn't it
13:34
took much later when I actually met Renee de Hinden John Green and Bob
13:39
Titmas become even more confident in the film because these were three of the
13:45
individuals who were directly involved with Roger Patterson Bob Gimlin and the
13:50
film site and so that that brought the confidence level up even more and then
13:57
what really did it later on was when social media came into effect and YouTube came into effect and I guess you
14:05
could I I'll just call it technology where they were able to take the film
14:10
and stabilize it so instead of Patty jiggling all around
14:16
the on film she's stabilized and she walks steady across the sandbar and so
14:22
that's when you could see her and really assess and analyzer for all that she's
14:28
worth and so it's either the confidence level is either going to go up or down and for me as a very uh detailed type of
14:38
individual my confidence level went through the roof
14:44
yeah i've always I've always felt it was a genuine uh uh actual film of of an
14:50
actual Bigfoot and uh of course we've had a lot of lot of
14:57
controversy as far as you know if it was real and people
15:04
giving conjecture as far as what had actually happened doubting uh Patterson
15:10
and Gimlin Booth and you know I I I don't honestly I don't know how Bob puts
15:16
up with it but he does and you know he's been questioning and been doubted so
15:22
many years and so much about it but he's very straightforward and and uh has
15:29
stuck with it and of course with people like you and others who who have actually been involved with the whole
15:35
phenomena itself and in particular the PG film i mean yeah i mean and I
15:41
I Yeah of course I'm not out in California so I don't I haven't and I've never been to this site so it gives
15:48
people like me a some confidence as it being actual film yeah and and we're approaching the 60th
15:56
year what is it 57 years now 57 58 years since that film and they're still the
16:03
people on social media are endlessly debating this film and it's one of the
16:08
most analyzed pieces of film in the history of the world probably outside of
16:14
the Kennedy assassination film shot by Abraham Sruder and so I'll tell you why
16:21
it it stands as the pinnacle of all of Bigfooting and let's go through them one
16:28
it's a daylight film they captured film not video and film in my view is is
16:34
really kind of superior to digital cinematograph photography you have two
16:39
eyewitnesses who viewed the subject one was filming uh right after the incident
16:46
happened it was reported to the newspaper by Roger Patterson so he put the word out he also
16:53
called the scientists from uh British Columbia to try to get them down there to the Patterson Gimlin film site to put
17:01
tracking dogs on it so I'll stop you right there if you were hoaxing something that's the last thing you
17:07
would want to do if you were hoaxing something the last thing you would want to do is do a broad daylight full sun
17:14
film because uh the sunlight would expose everything not conceal it if you
17:20
want to if you want to do a fake costume you do it where it's uh approaching nighttime where there's a lot of shadows
17:27
but here the subject is in full daylight uh within that day Roger Patterson uh
17:34
told several people where the film was shot so it wasn't like he was trying to conceal the film site he told people
17:41
where it was so people knew within the day where that film site was in addition
17:47
they shot a separate roll of film 16 millimeter of the footprints on the
17:53
sandbar so that's the second piece of documentation of what was there where Patty walked so you have the film of the
18:00
subject you have the film of the trackway and then Roger and Bob made about four plaster castings of the
18:07
tracks in the ground so it is even today the best documented case in the history
18:14
of Bigfooting and so it stands on the shoulders of everything ever in terms of
18:21
Bigfooting and nothing has ever been better than not
18:27
so um tell us how you uh you know some of
18:32
what's in the book itself and some of the new some of the new material that has never been seen before as well as
18:38
some other commentary that you'd like to talk about well just recently I was on the phone
18:45
with a fellow by the name of Dave Connelly and he's the producer for Josh
18:50
Gates for I'm not sure if it's a continuing series or a new series for
18:56
Discovery Channel Expedition Files or Expedition Unknown i'm I'm That's the
19:01
new show yeah that's the new show they want me to be on an episode when
19:07
they have a discussion about the PG film and they said 'Well it didn't take I
19:12
think David explained to me it didn't take long before we started looking for experts on the film that we found you it
19:18
was like you were the go-to person and so uh they phoned and so I had a
19:25
discussion with them and I said "One of the things I discuss in the book is the I am index." And if I could find the
19:31
page here so when Dr jeff Melbourne was writing
19:39
his book uh legend meets science he discussed the IM index and let me just
19:45
explain that briefly to the listening audience that's basically the ratio of
19:50
your arm length to your leg length and so there's there's a ratio there and it
19:56
turns out to be a number and so the IM index in relationship to we're different
20:01
than a gorilla different than a chimpanzee uh different from Patty and so Patty's
20:07
IM index is different than ours but remarkably Patty's IM index matches
20:15
almost precisely lays right over it the fossil that was discovered in Ethiopia
20:21
by the name many of us who follow anthropology know it Lucy mhm she's
20:27
she's a dead ringer and so right there it's just like well wait a minute if
20:33
Roger Patterson saved this film how would he know that the IM index of of
20:39
Lucy would be the same as Patty but Lucy
20:44
would would be discovered after the PG film was shot in other words that would be like looking into the future right
20:52
right interesting and so just in general this book here Bigfoot at Bluff
20:59
Creek which was self-published by me uh came out January of this year it offers
21:05
some neverbeforeseen photos uh that have to do with the PG film site like you've
21:12
never seen before a fellow from Mississippi by the name of Henry May who bought a copy of
21:18
the book and in fact because he subscribes to the newsletter the Bigfoot Times he was able to snap up a super
21:25
limited edition and the super limited edition had my autograph my signature
21:31
there's a small soil sample that's underneath uh uh scotch tape and there's
21:37
a Bigfoot stamp like an outline of a Bigfoot with a numbered edition that
21:42
they're they have purchased but uh so he did a YouTube review of the book and he
21:48
says on a one to 10 scale and Henry May has been around forever like me oh yeah
21:54
he has been and he goes he goes uh on a one one to
21:59
10 scale this book is the 20 good and I was just blown away because
22:06
it's just like you know one to 10 the best you can get is a 10 and so he he
22:11
rated me far above that mark so I was just tickled pink by his commentary so
22:17
because no one had before the book was released there was only teasers that I
22:23
had put up on Facebook as to what this thing was all going to be about and so people were guessing it could be really
22:29
really good or really really bad and so far all the reviews are really really
22:35
good and I'm just blown away by it well congratulations i I have talked to a
22:41
couple people who have looked at it and uh and I talked to them before you know
22:46
before we did this interview and I I'm definitely going to get a copy of my own so uh save me one
22:53
well let me the the first printing there's a thousand copies printed uh and
23:00
so you can't find this book on Amazon the only place you can get it is from me
23:07
and you could simply go to bigfoot times.net my website to order your own
23:12
copy the book sells for $39.54 and so for those people who are
23:18
geeky about the PG film just remember the PG film has 954 frames in it that
23:26
the verified film count that was done by Bill Muns 954 frames so you look at the
23:35
hashtag 3954 954 is the number of frames in the
23:42
film so the price mimics the number of frames in the film and so I wanted to
23:48
put that in there it's just like well wait a minute usually you pay 9.95 for something or or something of that nature
23:55
never uh 54 cents but here it's 954 for that very reason for the remembrance of
24:03
the film great now folks if you're in the chat uh
24:08
if you have any questions please put them up on caps and uh we'll we'll try and get to it and um now now the area at
24:16
Bluff Creek in that area h how have there been any other sightings uh in
24:22
that area or recorded uh since the Patty film oh absolutely yes uh we spoke with
24:31
a gentleman I think in 2021 who actually captured an image on one of the roads
24:38
going up to the film site up in the trees not in the trees but up on the uh
24:45
on the ridge in the trees that's something that they took a a a scenic
24:50
photograph and then uh I want to say this was it was in the newsletter probably around maybe 2019 when this was
24:58
done and then they because they had traveled that road before they had looked at the photo after the fact and
25:04
they said "Well wait a minute whatever there is blocking those two trees is no longer there but it was there when we
25:11
took this photo and uh the guy gave us the impression that maybe this was one
25:17
of them up there on the ridge as a lookout for the rest of them because
25:22
later it wasn't seen and it's a perfect place to have a vantage point of the road below
25:30
so yes there have been sightings up in the area since that time and before and
25:35
and many people think too that the Patterson Gimlin film was an isolated affair which is far from the truth
25:42
because prior to the PG film all of the the Bigfoot activity and the coining of
25:48
the term Bigfoot was from that Bluff Creek area from the Bluff Creek area the
25:54
Blue Creek area Blue Creek Mountain all happening in that immediate vicinity
25:59
before and after uh Kevin Morrison who's in the chat said
26:05
he has your book uh number 157 with your signature and soil from the film uh it's
26:12
a triple AAA book historical analysis on the film site so yeah I mean I I've been
26:19
hearing the same thing from folks so congratulations it's it's a monumental
26:24
achievement and uh I'm hoping you do very well with it um go ahead i just
26:31
just as a note I mailed out four copies of the book today and so I don't know
26:38
when when someone is going to go to the Bigfoot Times website or whatever and
26:43
order a copy but it's usually when I get home from work that I see oh these are orders and I've got to get those out so
26:49
the orders are still coming in and I'm still filling the orders but again the first edition the first printing is
26:56
1,000 copies and the first 352 copies think frame 352 are strictly for the
27:04
Bigfoot Times members the general public could still get a copy but it's not
27:10
going to be the super limited edition okay uh our friend Luis Castillo has a
27:16
question in the chat he he got he hooked us up together uh you and he had
27:21
breakfast together and you were talking while you were all eating and uh that's how we this became what it became and he
27:30
he asked um one of your thoughts on the recent video of Bigfoot or Giant in the
27:37
Victorville California about a month ago i to be honest I don't think I've seen
27:43
it yet okay i I I have yet if if it's out there I've yet to see it because
27:48
there's so much out there now that uh I don't have an opinion on it i would love to see it uh Victorville is not too far
27:55
from me up the Victorville Hisparia area that's still the Southern California area i'd have to see the video to make
28:02
an opinion about it okay uh Dagnameit asks "What type of
28:09
crypted do you think the grassman from Ohio is
28:15
i think that the the graph man is just another example of Bigfoot but but with a different name because Jody Cook Jody
28:23
Cook uh from Ohio was one of the original investigators of the Grassman back in the day in the early mid 90s and
28:31
so I was able to get some of the information there I guess in book form
28:36
and to me it was your typical Bigfoot but by a different name
28:43
okay yeah um you know the species and I I consider Bigfoot as a species uh but I
28:50
believe they have other races i mean in different areas is that your thought on it as well
28:56
absolutely i mean if you start to No one has ever done this and maybe someone
29:02
should and I know at this point in in my life I don't have the the necessary time
29:08
to do it but I suspect well I don't suspect I know that just even a small
29:14
sample of say reports from the Pacific Northwest compared to reports from say
29:20
Florida uh Georgia there's a marked difference in what's coming out in terms of
29:26
physical description so if there's a subspecies or a different species down there it would
29:32
not surprise me at all because if you look at species of bears I mean we have
29:38
all different types from the polar bear to the grizzly bear to the brown bear to the black bear but the brown bear and
29:43
the black bear are essentially the same but different colors but there's a whole and around the world there's all sorts
29:50
of different types of bears but they're still bears and so the same may be true
29:56
of Bigfoot but what seems to be a consistent theme is that they favor a
30:02
nocturnal lifestyle i don't know if this is for preservation of their of
30:08
themselves or whether that's just how they naturally are
30:13
um I got a question from Robo 1776 and uh thank you for the super chat as well
30:20
he says "Daniel uh first thank you for the great work on Patty so what is the
30:25
leading consensus of the origin of Patty as of today?" Oh that's that's actually a very
30:33
very good question uh I would say not the leading consensus but the general
30:39
consensus is that she might be a member of what uh scientists have dubbed
30:47
gigantopicus from the distant past that we know from mandibles and dental uh
30:55
teeth is the only thing we have of that ex quote unquote extinct species and the
31:01
only reason I would say the general consensus would have to go in that direction is because the giant
31:06
proportions of what we are seeing in the woods and what gigantothecus was based
31:13
on the size there are other other ideas but when it all comes down to it I like
31:21
to tell people who are willing to listen I think Bigfoot is just I mean this is a very general way of looking at just
31:28
another primate in its most basic format what it is as Renee de Hinden says he
31:34
says you know we can compare notes after the fact after we get one right now
31:40
let's just say it's a primate and I I'm comfortable with that because we're primates and it's it's obviously not
31:48
like us it's different but uh when it comes right down to it it's a primate
31:53
uh Leechum he has three questions ask but the first one is other than the Patty film what do you think is the best
32:00
evidence we have uh probably footprints and the vast
32:07
footprints that have been found here in North America and we have some really good examples that many of them found
32:14
here in the Pacific Northwest but also in Georgia by uh I can't think of the
32:22
guy's name but he was uh part of law enforcement and he was investigating disturbances there and he cast I think a
32:31
lone footprint there in 1997 1996 and it and it's the best casting we have from
32:38
Florida we also have some castings from Ohio that were made by Be
32:45
Mills probably 2020 or thereabouts and I've seen those castings in person and
32:52
I'm all I can say is I'm very very impressed because prior to be nails coming on the scene there wasn't a whole
32:59
lot of footprint castings from the state of Ohio it was few and far between and
33:05
she kind of made this big difference this big leap so I would say outside of
33:11
uh the the film of Patty I would say the strongest evidence is the footprints because something has to leave those
33:18
footprints absolutely um the second part of the question is do
33:25
would you want to see one or have you ever seen one i I have never seen a Bigfoot i've seen tracks on various
33:33
occasions and my only the only drawback is the tracks that I saw uh were not
33:39
that good they weren't a pristine stellar tracks they were the the first
33:46
one it had rained in Hemmet and those tracks were kind of washed out had we
33:51
been there before it rained we probably myself and Doug Trap this was 1979 1980
33:57
we probably could have seen some really good tracks because it was right next to a creek that was formed when it rained
34:06
and it looked like this subject had walked parallel to the creek and then crossed the creek and then took off into
34:13
some brush and was there a third part to that
34:18
question yeah there was a third part they they wanted to know what your opinion was on
34:25
other crypts like Dog Man sea monsters flying creatures etc uh Dogman I think
34:31
is probably Bigfoot uh uh aquatic uh marine animals absolutely i'm I'm all in
34:38
favor of Catabosaurus i'm all in favor of Ogo Pogo uh Natsi that kind of thing
34:46
and and the the the video that was shot off the coast of Florida that looked
34:51
like a I guess the the couple that was on a boat i guess they said it looked
34:57
like a giant telephone pole that appeared to be uh wrestling with a uh a
35:04
juvenile manatee or something like that and you could you could see that on YouTube and I'm very impressed with that
35:10
and that's probably an unknown aquatic animal that we science has not caught up
35:15
with yet yeah I think we're going to get a few of those as years go by too as well uh Flubberlain asked uh were there
35:23
any hairs found from Bigfoot in the Patterson area the in the area of the
35:29
Patterson incident no unfortunately not i think the closest we could have we
35:34
came to that was late October of 1967 when Bob Titnas arrived on the film site
35:42
he said he according to his testimony that the Patty had walked up the
35:47
mountain side there and sat down on a deep carpet of ferns and that according
35:53
to him that when she sat down she had a clear and unobstructed view of Roger and
36:00
Bob back on the film side so she may have just sat there in safety wondering
36:06
what were they doing down on the film site and why were they fascinated by looking at her footprints which to her
36:13
probably would be no big deal but to them it was and so possibly if
36:19
Bob Bob was a taxiderermist and although taxiderermy does involve hair and stuff
36:26
for her uh to my knowledge when he looked at where Patty had sat with her
36:33
her buttocks on the ferns he did not notice any hair there because I think he
36:40
probably would have looked and he probably could have found but I no hair has ever been retrieved from Patty
36:48
uh Joseé Sanchez asked "Have you seen the video where the female Bigfoot realizes she's being filmed and panics
36:54
holding her baby Bigfoot and runs like crazy?" Uh you could just make out her expression of fear before she bolts
37:02
yes I've seen that video the The only trouble with that video is that two
37:07
things that you should be very cautious of as a Bigfooter one is if you don't
37:12
know where it was shot that's your first red flag and two you don't know who shot the video that's your second and if you
37:20
went to just I I I know I know the individual who
37:26
supposedly captured that video it was in Western
37:31
Maryland so I But I can't say anything beyond that because I really don't know
37:37
yeah it's just that it it makes you wonder why hasn't the person come forward to have a deep discussion about
37:45
this footage and and so that you know unlike Roger and Bob they came forward
37:50
the very first day within hours of what transpired
37:55
uh Sir Wolf asked and this is a question I wanted to ask do you think that these invisible glimmermen or these cloaked
38:03
beings that that kind of imitate the Predator film do you think they are
38:09
actual a cloaked Bigfoot no no i think I think right there I
38:16
don't mean to be uh rude but I think you've gotten off the track quite a bit because dogs and cats and leopards and
38:24
tigers and walruses and whales they don't cloak they don't disappear they
38:29
don't disappear uh and then reappear later they're always there
38:35
now here's my question your Now your opinion do you believe there is a supernatural aspect to Bigfoot and other
38:43
cryptids no oh you don't i think I think a lot of people wrap that
38:49
around around the mystery because we haven't solved the mystery because we
38:54
haven't solved the mystery in terms of the theories about it it's still the wild west and people could say anything
39:01
without any adult supervision and uh it just I suspect a
39:08
couple of things because the the species is so small in terms of population in general and there they seem to be favor
39:17
nocturnal activities is why it seems to be have that supernatural connotation
39:24
wrapped around it but I don't I don't buy into any of that at all i think we're just dealing with a natural
39:31
terrestrial creature from planet Earth
39:37
um let's see katch asks "What do you think of all
39:44
the analysis of blown up frames of the PG film like MK Davis?"
39:49
I think some of the there I think the best the best in terms
39:55
of uh needle sharp images was done by Bonnie and Dehinden in 1980 where they
40:01
had access to the original film and made sebocchrome prints of the subject itself
40:07
which is kind of a super saturation of the colors in the film where you could
40:12
really see the subject much better uh what MK Davis MK Davis by the way is in
40:19
this book and he did some actually groundbreaking work and he called it
40:25
secondary image tagging and so what he was able to establish by studying the
40:31
film was that as Patty walks there's a certain area where you see the wake when
40:37
a boat goes in the water and say you're not seeing the boat but you see the wake
40:42
behind it you know that something was there before it so the same thing in certain frames of the PG film that MK
40:50
Davis discovered is that as Patty walks there's indentations in the sandbar
40:56
where she had just been and that is discussed in this book so MK Davis is in
41:02
this book for that work his individual original work and so what I wanted to
41:08
celebrate in this work is people who had made original significant observations
41:13
about the film um uh let's see fir what do you feel is
41:22
the range of Bigfoot in North America um are there states or provinces
41:28
where it's not located hawaii and basically outside of Hawaii
41:36
uh you've seen you seem to have Bigfoot reports in every state in every there
41:41
seems there seems to be some states that are more you have a higher concentration
41:48
of reports than other states like Ohio consistently produces reports of Bigfoot
41:54
washington state consistently reports of Bigfoot as is the province of British Columbia and I
42:02
mean and then you look at it and you have an abundance of food supply an abundance of cover and so those are some
42:08
of the things that would be ideal for a Bigfoot
42:14
um Robo 1776 asks "At at one time in the
42:19
70s he believes was there controversy on on John Green and others who went to hunt track shoot Patty?" Uh what are
42:27
your thoughts nonsense uh as Green explained when he
42:32
was living that their whole purpose uh early on was to collect evidence of
42:38
Bigfoot and it's just like had they done so of course they would have announced it to to the world and that conspiracy
42:46
nonsense with uh Bigfoot and blood and hound dogs and all that that was kind of
42:52
put out there by I think two people MK Davis and David Kites and I think they
42:59
were possibly intentionally doing this to get attention for themselves rather
43:05
than the subject matter and you know on the on social media on the internet you
43:11
can be whatever you want to be i mean between you and me I I don't think John Green would even got even you
43:19
know even would have uh given that thought at all i mean as far as hurting one of these creatures
43:25
knowing him and uh yeah so I'm glad you said what you said uzzi Sanchez asked
43:32
"Have you heard of any recent reports of the white Bigfoot as in Russia maybe uh
43:38
their population is lower than our uh brown and black c their brown and black cousins."
43:44
Well that's interesting that he brings that up i I guess I've heard of a couple of Bigfoot reports the Almasti or
43:52
whatever you want to call it in Russia that are white colored but if you look here in North America there are reports
44:00
of white colored Bigfoot that have seen been seen and in fact the late Allen
44:06
Plaster in Texas actually took a Polaroid photo of one an alleged Bigfoot
44:12
in the Lake Worth area of Texas in 19 November of ' 69 right and that subject
44:19
is very white or white colored and so that might be something that is
44:26
manifested not just in us because we have in our species we have albinos and
44:32
possibly in Bigfoot too the Bigfoot species who have albinos but extremely
44:37
rare and far in between but here again not only are there reports of them but
44:44
Allen Plaster the late Alen Plaster may have been the first person to get capture on Polaroid film an example of
44:52
an albino Bigfoot in 1959 just less than two years or a little over two years
44:58
after Roger Patterson got his footage um Dag Name asked again uh have you
45:05
heard of a Bigfoot with red eyes supposedly they're they're mean no in fact when John Green was doing his
45:13
studies and you look at his book from 1978 he does a breakdown of many of the
45:18
Bigfoot reports and you find that many of the eye shines the colors of the eyes
45:24
during nighttime are of a reddish color it's a very common thing but there's
45:30
also reports of having yellow colored eyes during the the evening hours and so
45:36
the red and the yellow are very common i'm not sure what it's all about or what
45:41
it means only that the witnesses reported that the eyes seem to be red at the certain time
45:48
uh Kevin Morrison asked uh Daniel what's your opinion that Patty wasn't alone
45:53
that day at Bluff Creek her companions were probably were not
45:59
far away I find it I find it difficult to believe that uh she would be out there solo by
46:07
herself and so let's you could kind of think that
46:14
there's safety in numbers and she was probably with a group of a small group
46:20
that was their path their family and she just happened to be away at the time
46:25
possibly just coming down off the mountain to get a drink of water i'm not certain exactly what she was doing but
46:32
when they went back there in June of 68 and this is in my book
46:38
again is that uh George Hos saw on the
46:44
film site that there seemed to be a little footprint there that looked like a little person's footprint and Jim
46:50
McLaren told him that "Oh that's just a person walking around barefoot." And so
46:58
that that kind of George Hos wrote about that in his notes but that kind of
47:05
suggests that perhaps maybe just perhaps that in June of 68 Patty was back there
47:12
and that her offspring was with her as well and that those were the footprint i
47:18
don't know that to be fact it's strictly speculation but yeah and and uh I wouldn't be
47:26
surprised that the Blue Creek Mountain activity prior to
47:31
uh October of ' 67 the stuff that was happening in August September of ' 67 just a few months earlier that Patty was
47:39
probably part of that group as well and just for the readers or the people who
47:45
are watching just the flyby distance from Blue Creek Mountain to Bluff Creek the Patterson Gimlin film site it's
47:52
probably no more than seven miles and if you're if you're a creature that's normally walking all the time that's
47:58
nothing yeah uh Robo 1776 asked uh Todd Gatewood
48:05
and Alex Murkin applied film technology to reveal new details do you have any thoughts on that well I saw I actually
48:12
spoke with Todd Gatewood a few months ago and I asked him point blank about
48:17
the image of Patty the closeup of the face and he didn't seem to answer my
48:24
question specifically but what you've seen on social media especially on Facebook where it seems to have a big
48:32
indentation indentation on the side of the head I don't buy that as original
48:38
something that is pulled from the film itself i think there's maybe some art
48:43
artistic ability uh plugged into that and that you're seeing something that may be artificial
48:49
rather than what's actually on the film because that is not actually on the film
48:56
and if he said so and say for instance it went to court that you would have to
49:02
prove that assertion by actually looking at the film frames and when you look at the film frame that is not there
49:12
uh K's quatch asks "Where have been some of your favorite locations to research?"
49:19
Uh believe it or not uh the Sierras uh up near Tahoe I think is a very very
49:26
good area another good I get a lot of reports from up there around Taho yeah
49:31
it just it just seems like the either the California side of Tahoe or the
49:37
Nevada side of Tahoe is just seems to be a very good area and uh also the the
49:43
northern California area is another good area uh to look for Bigfoot and uh I
49:50
would say just in general if if if I could drop everything and just go look
49:55
for Bigfoot on the full b full-time basis I would favor the Pacific Northwest 100% i would I would focus
50:02
just here because it's easy to move around here in the Pacific Northwest unlike other areas in the the United
50:08
States uh Roboot 1776 there are reports that
50:14
Bigfoot Sasquatch have a self-generator self-generated bioluminescence from their eyes no
50:21
reflection but true glow from their eyes at night what do you think that could be that I would not it would
50:30
not surprise me the least bit because as as science grew say from the 40s to the
50:37
50s to the 50s to the 70s just imagine all the things we learned about the
50:42
species that are living on the planet and all the things that were miraculous that we didn't know before and all the
50:49
stuff that say chimpanzees and their their natural environment and um what
50:56
they were all about a lot of this stuff wasn't even known before uh Jane Goodall came on the scene it was kind of a
51:03
mysterious area although we knew chimpanzees existed we suspect they
51:08
could exist and this idea of bioluminescence or this ability to maybe have flashlights in your eyes for
51:15
nighttime vision because they seem to be able to move around quite well in pitch
51:21
blackness and so we as a species homo sapiens we can't see in the dark period
51:29
once it's jet black when you're out in the woods you need a flashlight to move
51:35
around and so that begs the question if you go back to Stacy Brown Jr and Senior
51:40
when they got their footage in Florida that I interviewed both of them they said that whatever was out there was
51:48
having no trouble seeing it in pitch black darkness that it was moving around
51:54
and so that would suggest to you that whatever was there had this complete ability to see
52:00
in darkness and it's just like we can't do this we don't know the mechanism which enables them to do this if they
52:08
have something that God has gifted them in terms of supervision I don't know but
52:14
I wouldn't be surprised if they have it now I I know they did the investigations
52:19
of the skunk ape down in Florida do you think it might that that racer that's
52:24
that part of Bigfoot uh genre it it they have a specific type of ability as
52:31
opposed to other Bigfoot i think maybe they're more aquatic based
52:37
okay because they move around down in in those swampy areas that it's not just all on land there's probably a lot of uh
52:46
water to move through and I think they're just probably a lot more comfortable in an aquatic environment
52:52
and I wouldn't even be surprised if their feet might have more webbing between the toes to move around uh
52:59
better in the water yeah yeah i I agree with you i mean the Maka skunk ape is
53:06
very interesting to me uh uh Jose Sanchez asked "Do you think that it's possible that Bigfoot and ETSs
53:13
have any some form of relationship in the past present based on accounts?"
53:20
I'm I'm not certain about that i I've read a lot of literature on on the
53:25
subject and the person who made the best connection actually happened to be in Australia who wrote a book his name was
53:32
Mark Moravec and he wrote where there were specific instances and I think this is coming
53:38
from Australia where there was say a UFO in the vicinity of a a Yahi report that
53:46
were so close together that you would have to make the connection unlike here
53:51
in the in the United States uh people speculate about that but I would have to
53:57
see much better proof to say like this is what is going on but I mean who's
54:04
who's to say that a UFO is coming into the forest and they happen to see a Bigfoot from their spaceship and say
54:10
like "Hey what's that?" And it just happens to be there happens to be a person present to observe this that
54:17
doesn't mean they're associated it just means that he's observing two phenomenon at one time
54:23
right uh short order cook asked "Daniel is there any research on Bigfoot concerning a medicine plants and and and
54:31
what they use for ailments natural a natural?" That's another good
54:37
question i I don't know but I'm sure they've got it figured out because I'm
54:42
sure as they go through their lives that I'm sure they've been bitten by a rattlesnake and I'm sure they have their
54:49
answer to what to do or uh whatever the case may be that uh if they've come in
54:57
contact with something that is bad for them maybe they ate something bad they probably have an answer to that in terms
55:04
of their herbal medicine that's found in the forest right uh Kquatch asks "What do you think
55:11
of Native Americans view of Bigfoot as spiritual as well as uh as physical?"
55:18
Well uh the Native Americans the idea of a physical animal I'm with them but if
55:24
you look at the Native Americans in general the Indians is that they talk
55:30
about the eagle the bear the whale in spiritual connotation but white men or the modern
55:40
Americans we don't look at them that way we just look at them as a physical animal if there's a spiritual side to it
55:47
we are not necessarily recognizing it as the Native Americans do so that's all I
55:54
can say is that they see them differently for different reasons
55:59
well Daniel I want to thank you for coming on tonight i'd really appreciate you taking the time to do so uh tell
