I was lying in bed when I suddenly heard the same exact clicking noise I described before. At first, it was faint, then it got stronger — and suddenly I had that same feeling again.
I received a follow-up incident at a previously reported location:
"Hi again. I’m writing to report a second encounter, and this one was more intense than the first.
This happened tonight (technically early this morning), on June 14, 2025, around 4:00 AM, while I was at my grandparents’ house in San Luis Obispo — the same place I mentioned in my last report.
I was lying in bed when I suddenly heard the same exact clicking noise I described before. At first, it was faint, then it got stronger — and suddenly I had that same feeling again:
Clammy hands.
Muscle spasms.
Tingling down my body.
A deep, subconscious instinct that something was about to happen.
A few seconds later, I heard footsteps on the roof — slow, deliberate. At first, I thought it was the house settling, but then I realized the steps were moving. That’s not normal.
I got up quietly and went to my mom’s room, still trying to stay calm. The footsteps followed above me.
And here’s the part that really shook me:
Our cat, who had been downstairs, suddenly started freaking out. Running, darting around, then sprinted upstairs directly toward me, and started clawing at my mom’s door. He’s never done that. He was completely panicked — like he sensed something I couldn’t see.
The clicking and footsteps stopped about 10 minutes after that. But the energy is still here. The cat is still acting on edge. And I still feel watched.
I didn’t go outside tonight. I didn’t provoke anything. But it came closer than ever — it came to the house.
This is the only place this happens. Nothing ever follows me elsewhere. It’s this property — and maybe me while I’m here.
Please let me know if anyone has reported anything like this — especially in the San Luis Obispo area. At this point, I don’t know if this is a cryptid, a spirit, or something else entirely. But it’s real, it’s returning, and it’s not finished yet.

Here is the initial report sent to me from 'EB':
"Hi. I’m writing to report an extraordinary and unsettling experience that I had in the early hours of April 19, 2025, around 2:30 AM, in San Luis Obispo, California.
I live on the ground floor near the San Luis Obispo Country Club. I was outside my home, on the phone with a friend, when we both suddenly heard a loud, unnatural clicking noise. It was sharp, mechanical, almost like a bomb timer or a distorted insect, unlike anything I’ve heard before in nature or from a machine.
When I looked up into the sky, I saw something that completely froze me in place.
There was a massive winged figure above me. It wasn’t just a “big bird” big. It was huge, with an estimated wingspan of 10 feet or more, and its body size was close to that of a human around 6’5” tall. It was circling above me slowly and continued making a clicking noise as it moved. Its body looked dark, almost shadowy, and I couldn’t make out a face, no glowing eyes or defining features. Just the sheer size and the sound overwhelmed everything.
Then, as suddenly as it appeared, it vanished. The clicking stopped mid-air. The sky was empty.
I ran to take cover beneath the entrance to my home, and just as I was catching my breath, I heard a sound in the nearby bushes. I looked, and I saw a tall figure, about 6’5”, standing or crouched in the shadows. I couldn’t see its face, but its shape and presence felt connected to the flying figure from moments before. It was completely silent, but I felt an intense wave of fear and instinctively ran inside.
I want to emphasize, that my friend heard the clicking too, over the phone, and commented that it sounded like something was about to explode.
The entire thing happened over maybe 2–3 minutes.
There were no red eyes, no flapping, and no sound of wings, just the clicking, the enormous presence, and the silence when it was gone.
This wasn’t a dream, and it wasn’t just my imagination. I’m fully aware of how strange this sounds, but I needed to document it. Whether it was a cryptid, a supernatural entity, or something else, I’m certain of what I experienced.
Please let me know if there have been any other reports like this in the San Luis Obispo area, or if you’d like more details. I just want to make sure this is taken seriously.

I had received another winged being report from the San Luis Obispo area:
“It was 2011 in San Luis Obispo, California. I was in this old internment camp built in 1942. It was a foggy, cloudy night. There's tons of wildlife - deer, turkey, cats, etc. - on this river trail. A few of us were on the bleachers.
One of the guys there was a few feet from me, looking up at the sky. Then he started calling my name. I was busy talking to the other guys. He said my name a few times before I said, 'What's up?' He nodded and said, 'Look up.' I looked up. It was a flying bat-like humanoid with cloudy, milky skin. He had to be about 7 to 8 feet tall with a wingspan of about 11 feet, gliding above all the wildlife. He was roughly 50 yards up in the sky, about 45 degrees to the right. I saw it for about 10 seconds. It glided behind the clouds and disappeared. Then we looked at each other like WTF?
So my theory is that these predators are intelligent. They know when to hunt on cloudy days when they will be less seen and detected. On clear nights, no creature ever flew by, but that day it was cloudy and foggy, and visibility was minimal. However, when we saw him, there was a break in the clouds.” EB
