"Suddenly, it was like I hit a wall of fear and dread. I was frozen in my tracks. I saw nothing, but the paralyzing fear that I felt was real. Instantly I knew, I had to get out of that area."
I received the following account:
"Hello. About 12 years ago my husband surprised me by renting us a tree house back in the Daniel Boone National Forest in Kentucky. I was a novice at searching for Bigfoot, so while we were there I was making 'whoops' and banging on trees. I've since realized that those are NOT good choices.
One night, somewhere between 2 am and 3 am, I had a few beers and was feeling adventurous. My husband had told me that about half a mile behind our tree house, there was a sheer wall of rock around 60 or so feet high, straight up, with a way to climb it to a flat plateau that looked out over the forest. Now, in the woods of Daniel Boone National Forest, it is DARK. There are no lights of any kind. So I put on a pair of night vision goggles I had brought and headed off into the woods. I was not feeling frightened in any way. I was anticipating going up the cliff face in the dark and seeing the view from the top.
Suddenly, it was like I hit a wall of fear and dread. I was frozen in my tracks. I saw nothing, but the paralyzing fear that I felt was real. Instantly I knew, I had to get out of that area. I was so very afraid to see what was causing the dread in my heart, that I pulled off the goggles and quickly, shaking, I went back.
I have since then encountered many Bigfoot and their areas and not once did I feel that same dread. I HAVE however been near a dogman and felt it, as well as having something LARGE drop from a tree behind me and felt it again." M
