I received the following account:
"Hi. I thought that this might interest you. I live near Pensacola, Florida. About 8 years ago I was taking care of my neighbor's horses for him. He was out of town, and on my last trip down there I locked up the round pen and turned to walk to my car and when I looked up I saw this figure in the woods of a man.
The only way to describe it was see-through. It looked just like the alien in the movie Predator when it was cloaked. It jumped like it was startled and then dropped to the ground and crawled off into the woods. I think my heart sank into my stomach and my very first thought was, "Did I really just see that?"
I did see it and I don't go out near the woods and haven't since that day. It had a very negative effect on me. When I decided to do some research years later, I discovered that many people have seen this thing. They call it the Glimmer Man.
Since then I find it very hard to laugh at or discount anyone else's story of weird sightings. It might explain some of the other weird things that happened around here before that ever took place. I do believe they are Sasquatch that can cloak. It makes sense why they are rarely ever seen." J
