"I’m not sure how much I slept that night, but the walk out the next day revealed rocks all over the cabin, which was weird because we were in a wooded forest with dirt ground, not lots of stone around."
The following account was forwarded to me by my friends & colleagues Kyle & Cam at Expanded Perspectives:
"I was a guide in the East Kootenay mountains in British Columbia, Canada, and there was one night I cannot explain what happened. I was dropped off to cut a horse tail, which is a trail for horses to come through. Right off the bat, everything went calm; everything was silent. There were weird wood knocks, banging, and whoops in between the silence.
My job was to take a chainsaw and cut a horse trail. It got so creepy that I didn’t want to turn off my chainsaw because the silence was so eerie. But eventually, I did turn it off because we only had a certain amount of fuel.
I sat down on a log and was about to have some lunch. As I was sitting on the log, a lodgepole pine tree came flying at me. It wasn’t directly in my line, but maybe 10-15 feet away from me—the whole tree, roots and all, as if it had been pulled from the ground. Keep in mind I didn’t have a gun with me, but I had a chainsaw. I was scared to look behind me, so I sat there thinking I had been hearing strange sounds all afternoon.
I stood up and started my chainsaw to make some noise. I continued to the end of where the trail is supposed to be—a hunting cabin where I was spending the night. I noticed that the second the chainsaw wasn’t running, the knocking, whooping, and banging were happening in the distance.
Throughout the night, rocks were hitting the roof—not constantly, but just enough to keep a person up. It was such a terrifying night; at one point, I questioned turning the chainsaw on in the cabin to make some noise, but carbon monoxide poisoning is a real thing. I’m not sure how much I slept that night, but the walk out the next day revealed rocks all over the cabin, which was weird because we were in a wooded forest with dirt ground, not lots of stone around.
The next time our crew ended up going to that hunting cabin, it was shut down due to severe damage to the cabin, as if it had been trashed inside and out. It was odd; I would suspect it was a Sasquatch. I believe they do exist." A
