The mysterious Men in Black tend to offer little explanation for their appearance, leaving a trail of doubt and confusion in their path, and people who have encountered them often report having felt intimidated and harassed.
The term Men in Black (MIBs) refers to individuals that often show up to question UFO witnesses and witnesses of other strange phenomenon. Usually in groups of three, they are dressed almost entirely in black, often wearing sunglasses. They are usually male, but in some cases have had an equal number of female counterparts. Sometimes they claim to be working within a certain agency of the federal government such as the CIA.
These mysterious figures have gained renown in American pop culture and folklore, and a popular trilogy of feature films, Men in Black, staring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, was conceived in 1997. Additionally, Men in Black were often featured in the 1990’s Fox show The X-Files. One comedic episode, “Jose Chung’s from Outer Space” (’95–‘96), guest-starred former wrestler Jesse Ventura and Jeopardy’s Alex Trebek as MIBs.
The term “Men in Black,” is believed to have been coined by author and investigator John Keel, who is probably best known for his investigative work in UFOs and paranormal activity, and for his book, The Mothman Prophesies (1975). In 1967, Keel wrote an article for Saga magazine titled “UFO Agents of Terror,” in which he describes his investigation into these figures that would hence come to be known as “Men in Black,” according to The Telegraph.
Documented Visitations
One of the first documented MIB cases involved publisher of the flying saucer publication Space Review Albert K. Bender, who in October 1953, abruptly ended his magazine publication. In 1963, he spoke in his autobiography about how he was intimidated into halting all publications by visitors wearing all black, according to an account on ufoevidence.org, a site dedicated to the scientific study of the extraterrestrial.
A more modern potential MIB sighting involves actor and UFO and paranormal researcher Dan Aykroyd, who recounted his MIB story in the documentary Dan Aykroyd Unplugged on UFOs: While he was in New York City preparing a show for the SciFi Channel on UFOs and the paranormal, titled Out There, he was having a cellphone conversation with Brittany Spears and saw a black sedan with potential MIBs inside. One MIB stood outside the car staring at Aykroyd, and another gave Aykroyd an unpleasant glance from the back seat. Aykroyd looked away for a brief moment, and when he looked back, the sedan had disappeared.
“I turned back a half-second later and it was gone. And that car did not go past me, it did not take a U-turn. … That car vanished,” said Aykroyd.
Aykroyd was informed later that day that his show was to be canceled, leaving many ufologists to ponder whether or not MIB influence led to that outcome.
Merely A Figment?
Due to the odd nature of these figures, there are many theories regarding their origins. Many ufologists believe these beings to be actual government agents, while others believe them to be extraterrestrials themselves. Some skeptics believe that they are just the unconscious manifestation of American paranoia.
Researcher Peter Rojcevicz, who had a close encounter with a potential MIB himself while researching UFOs, has a different understanding. He believes that the MIB phenomenon has been a part of our culture and folklore since the beginning of history, and that MIBs are a modern form of the fairies and angels that were seen by peoples of the past. In a nutshell, he believes that we mentally create these beings—or an image of them—in order to help us cement our concept of reality. The antithetical nature they represent helps us to understand reality as we see it, according to Rojcewicz’s lecture, “Beware the Physical in the Material: Imaginalia, Folk Belief and the Eclipse of the Literal.”
Whatever the reality may be, these beings often leave their contacts stunned and in fear. They are virtually synonymous with UFOs and have influenced our pop culture through stories, documentation, and movies. Perhaps someday we will have a clear understanding of the Men in Black. - TheEpochTimes

Reptilian Close Encounter
"Ready" is a term that has shown up in many stories about Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I am very much on my guard for when this word shows up because I have had an encounter in which the word was spoken to me by a reptilian:
In August, 1959, my parents and I were traveling to Colorado Springs on a vacation. (This was before my 11th birthday on August 19.) For some unknown reason, Dad decided that we would stop and visit Mt. Capulin, an extinct volcano in the northeast corner of New Mexico. Mom stayed in the tourist center while Dad and I climbed up the side of the volcano and down into the crater. Then we returned to the center. I had a desperate need to go to the bathroom.
As I was walking through the center, I felt myself stop in mid-step. I felt my mind lift out of my body, and drop straight through the floor. How deep, I cannot imagine. My "drop" ended in an arched tunnel deep underground; the tunnel was lighted with orange lights.
Standing in front of me was a smallish being/entity that I now know to identify as a reptilian. I would estimate its height at somewhere around 4 feet tall. It was wearing a grey-color robe with long sleeves, and a hood. The most I could see of its face was "intense, oversized dark eyes". In its left hand (number of fingers unclear, but definitely a thumb) it held something that we today would describe as an iPad or the like. In its right hand it held some kind of stylus.
It looked straight at me, and with mind-to-mind talk, said (testily), "What are you doing here? Were not ready for you yet!"
Then my mind zoomed back up through the ground and back into my head, where I stood in the tourist center. Immediately, I double-timed it to the ladies room, and "got relief" just in time.
Since then I have lived, wondering when the "we" that this alien/entity represented, would be ready for me. I have had other encounters with UFO-related entities, like the MiB dressed in a black warrant officers uniform, driving a yellow Mini-Cooper, on the military base near Keflavik, Iceland. He told me, "Go home" and pointed towards the southwest and North America.
Maybe the aliens/entities have visited me, and I dont remember it. Thanks for letting me post my story. - MUFON CMS

UFO geeks deny close encounters with lasers
The Territory's most famous alien hunter has defended the professional skills of his UFO-spotting colleagues, saying that they pose no risk to aircraft with their laser beams.
Acacia Hills ufologist Alan Ferguson wrote on his website last week that shining laser beams at spacecraft makes them "power up".
It prompted unimpressed pilots to speak out about the dangers of shining the high-intensity light at aircraft that may be descending to land.
Mr Ferguson, who is part of the Australian Close Encounter Resource Network, said people who used lasers on planes were idiots.
"If caught, throw the book at them," he said.
"Me and my fellow associates only show the real deal and are not into hoaxes as these mongrels make our job more difficult."
But he said nobody he knows would be fooled.
"All my associates are very professional in what they do and can see the difference between a UFO and a plane.
"Even you would see the difference, no comparison. Especially when they just appear then move off then stop again, no planes do that."
Mr Ferguson said lasers were used with infra-red binoculars because they were better for spotting UFOs.
"The laser when flashed at them makes them power up, so they are making contact back," he said.
"They are intelligently controlled and (do) not always move across the sky, sometimes stopping, sit there flashing then shoot off in a blur."
A380 pilot and former pilots' association president Barry Jackson warned that laser lights shone at planes coming in to land could cause a catastrophic crash by blinding pilots who needed their night vision to steer the plane.
"Most aircraft are landed manually," he said. "The pilot is doing all the work and they need night vision." The maximum penalty for those caught shining lasers at aircraft in the Territory is four years in prison.
Laser pointers were shone at aircraft landing in Darwin last week by persons unknown. Mr Ferguson said some UFO hunters in the Top End had come to his place for a spotting mission but none had lasers.
"I don't even have a laser myself as I don't have the time these days due to working long hours," he said. - HeraldSun

More 'Religous Police' Antics
Saudi Arabia’s feared religious police entered a public park in the Gulf Kingdom and told women to stop using swings, an act that drew applause and criticism by viewers of a picture showing the men warning some women at the swings.
The picture went viral on social networks in Saudi Arabia before it was published by newspapers showing two men from the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice warning women against using the swings.
“Some viewers of the picture supported the move by the Commission members on the grounds women using the swing could encourage men to harass or molest them,” the Saudi Arabic language daily ‘ Al Sada’ said.
“Others said they believe the act is not acceptable as it amounted to an unjustified interference and repression of women by the Commission.”
Restaurant shut over gender-mixing
Saudi Arabia’s influential religious police shut a restaurant in the conservative Gulf kingdom for massive violations including allowing gender-mixing.
Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, backed by other police men and municipality inspectors, raided the restaurant in the western Red Sea port of Jeddah and ordered it shut indefinitely.
“Sources said they shut the restaurant after it was found to be violating local laws, including allowing mixing between men and women, operating obscene TV channels and serving shisha in closed places,” Sabq daily said.
Gender-mixing is strictly banned in schools, universities and most other places in the oil-rich kingdom. - Emirates247
