Several UFO Sightings in Vicinity of Kansas City International Airport...Including Commercial Pilot
7/30/2012: As called in to ASD by phone: (witness wishes to remain anonymous)
I am the pilot of a regularly scheduled commercial aircraft flight from St. Louis to Kansas City and was on approach to KCI when my co-pilot said he saw an unidentified object to the right of the aircraft that appeared to be following us. It was not yet in my range of view, so I asked him to confirm that and the object remained. I radioed the tower and asked for radar confirmation but there was none. Then the object came into my view to the right front of the aircraft. At that point we were approximately 35 minutes out from the airport. The object was a silver/gray color and had three blue/white lights on the bottom and one on the top. It was a disc-shaped craft with a low dome on top. It was approximately 300 feet from our aircraft and NNE of our position. Then the object suddenly moved underneath us and to the left, and continued at the our same rate of speed. I discussed this with my co-pilot and we decided not to tell the tower what we saw because of what happens when reports like this are made. The tower then asked us to confirm an unidentified object and I said it was no longer in view. I was concerned, however, that it might be a problem. The object stayed with us for approximately 22 minutes. When I decreased aircraft speed for approach, the object slowed as well, then went directly south of our position at a very high rate of speed - faster than any aircraft Ive ever seen. I was a military pilot for 14 years and know what type of aircraft we have. It was definitely NOT a man-made aircraft.
Some pilots have lost their jobs when they report a UFO, and I would like to keep mine so am not providing my name or contact information. Some of the passengers were discussing this as they left the plane but we did not discuss it with them. Other crew members saw it as well, but did not report it. I just wanted to tell someone about it.

8/1/2012: Some odd activity around the Kansas City International Airport (MCI).
I live in the intersection of the International and Kansas City regional airports. This is just stuff thats been going on that is really abnormal.

I have been seeing this wide body aircraft flying over in kind of a zig-zag pattern at night. I think its a 747 but unable to tell. It has large bright lights down the side of the body located about every 3-4 window locations. Both sides of the aircraft are like this. The aircraft looks like a glowing orange cigar shape at about 20-30 miles out if it is travel orthogonal to you. Its brighter then the full moon when right over head with the lights on. Its elevation is also odd, it seems to stay around 10,000-15,000 ft.
Its been flying around since Saturday. With the lights on and off (Normal aircraft lighting is always on). If some one saw it at a distance on a side profile, it would totally look like a UFO. If its heading to you, it looks like a plane with odd landing lights on.

This has happen several times in the last month, and on clear days and nights. The typical approach to MCI is east to west. You can sit here at night and spot the planes up to 50-60 miles coming for in for landing. I have been living here for almost 20 years and I have seen this happen with one or two planes, but not serval hours of landings.
Whats been going on is that you can the planes in the distance. Then they the take a B-Line south then U-turn back to the north heading almost directly over my house. then go north of me to take a sharp left heading back to the airport. They will do this for up to a few hours. They will route planes in a similar northern direction as well. No aircraft are coming the east-to-west path during time. There is NO weather activity other then freaking hot...
There was an instance last month were they were after the the aircrafts had done all that and going into the approach to MCI, and then get diverted south. and probably forced to use the southern approach to MCI (2nd runway). They didnt change the course for almost 10 flights. - MUFON CMS

7/31/2012: It was July 31st 2012 a little after 1pm CST. I was on a ciggerette break in the back of the building where I work. I work for the city ambulance service in this town. I was looking in the sky at a jet at the highest cruse level an airliner can fly when I noticed this grey/silver long cigar like object about 50ft or more above it coming from behind the jet. It continued to fly over the jet, in front of it until it dissapeared in a small thin cloud. I waited for it to reappear after it existed the cloud but it never did. This day the sky was clear blue with very few thin clouds not to mention we had triple digit temperatures. I was not hallucinating from the heat as my co-workers joked about when I told them. I have never witnessed a UFO in my life but that day I know I saw one. I cant get this thing out of my head now. And the chilling thing about it is that night channel 5 KSHB reported a story from a pilot who said one trailed there plane as they landed at KCI airport the day before on Monday July 30th. The jet looked like a reflective dot with a very long smoke trail. This object stretched five times that of the jet if not more at that altitude, it was amazing. I am no-longer a doubter, I know what I saw and it was not man made. I wish I had had a camera but I did not I just hope I was not the only one who saw it. - MUFON CMS

Trans-Eurasian UFO-Search Expedition
The truth may be above Russia's deepest lake, say UFO enthusiasts.
Reuters reports more than 50 sci-fi fans have set up camp on the southern end of Lake Baikai to search the skies for extra terrestrial life as part of the 'Trans-Eurasian UFO-Search expedition.'
The UFO devotees were drawn to the lake after locals reported an increase in strange object sightings.
'Here, in 1958 there was an TU-154 airplane crash. There were some reports from the locals that a UFO pursued the air craft till it reached Baikal waters right here. And there were frequent reports of UFO activity around Baikal. So this is the reason why we decided to meet here. I hope that we will be lucky enough to shoot something interesting,' participant Vladimir Kuznetsov told Reuters.
Kuznetsov arrived at the lake armed with his own device for monitoring radiation and omissions, while other fans use photo and video cameras to document any sighting.
Two expedition members, Anastasia and Andrey Chernobrov, claim to have spotted a UFO during the space stake-out.
'At first the object did not move, but it had a peculiar glow, flashing with different colours - blue, red, yellow, green... We started watching it, and a few minutes afterwards the object began to move chaotically, not like a helicopter, or a plane, or any other terrestrial machine which can fly,' Andrey Chernobrov told Reuters.

I thought what the hell is that? Then I was filled with fear. I thought out loud, that thing is following me, that thing knows me, that thing knows who I am, that thing wants ME! I turned past the lake and I was surprised by big lights behind pine trees, that took up a large space. I stopped the car and rolled down window. The air was crisp, clear and cold. I looked and could not believe what I was seeing. It was right there but unidentifiable. It was a big and made a low humming sound. It had red and green lights on it. I got scared and rolled the window up, drove to the corner, turned left and parked in front of my house. I got out of the car and looked toward the lake. It was gone. I thought wow, what the helll was that. Just then my eyes were drawn toward sky. I had to bend way back to look at very huge object way way up in sky, but still close enough to observe. Six or eight sides, dark brown, metallic, heavy. I wondered how could it stay up there? Windows went around the craft and I thought I may of seen some people. I was so afraid of it. A thought came immediately into my head. It said, we already took you. We are bringing you back. I ran into the house. It was getting light out. It only takes 40 minutes to get from Edison to Asbury Park, but hours passed, at least four. I wanted to go in and call the police but I passed out cold. Around 10 am I woke up ran down stairs and looked in the sky but it was gone. For a long long time after I heard high frequency sounds in my head, my intuitive power was heightened and to this day I have had numerous spiritual experiences.
