Daily 2 Cents: Chinese Man Slept With An Alien -- NASA Predicts Alien Life Discovery Soon -- White Entity Encounter

Meet the Chinese Lumberjack Who Slept With an Alien

"If you can't find me," Meng Zhaoguo said over a cell phone whose signal faded from its isolation, "Just head to the last house on the logging commune lane. Or ask anyone who's around." Everyone knows the first Chinese person to allegedly be abducted by aliens.

With its surging economy, China is summiting once-unseen heights in world rankings: millions of English speakers, almost the most millionaires and actually the least frugal tourists. Yet despite being slightly larger in area than the United States with four times as many people, China trails far behind when it comes to visitors from outer space. To date, only one Chinese person -- lumberjack Meng Zhaoguo -- claims to have slept with one.

I first visited Meng at his home on the Red Flag Logging Commune, set among the remains of a forest in China's far northeast, an area historically known as Manchuria. Chinese characterize Northeasterners as big-hearted, industrious and sometimes a bit touched in the head. So it was not a shock when the nation's first person claiming interstellar relations came from here. In 2003, I traveled over a winding, ice-covered, one-lane road through the forest to meet him.

On the commune, Meng lived in a two-room timber frame house he had built with his own hands. Bare yellow light bulbs dropped from the ceiling, and there was no phone -- or cell reception. But a big-screen Sony television filled one end of the room. Read more at Meet the Chinese Lumberjack Who Slept With an Alien

NOTE: I posted this account not longer after the incident. Back then Meng was said to be a farmer:

FARMER SEDUCED BY A ALIEN HUMANOID

She was three metres tall, had 12 fingers and braided leg hair - and she wanted to make love with him, Meng Zhaoguo said.

So the farmer from Heilongjiang and the robust extra-terrestrial seductress had intimate moments - while levitating - for about 40 minutes, claims Meng, who is the protagonist of what is perhaps China's best-known alien abduction report.

Meng says he was working outside in Heilongjiang's Wuchang in 1994, when he saw a metallic shimmering on a mountainside. He went to investigate, believing it was likely a downed helicopter, when he blacked out.

When he came to, he was confused and unable to communicate with other people. He had also developed an extreme fear of anything made of iron.

Later that night, the female humanoid visited him, he says.

"I didn't believe in aliens before I actually met them," he tells China Daily. "Seeing is believing. We cannot explain UFOs and aliens because our technology isn't advanced enough. But that doesn't mean such things don't exist."

He passed a lie detector test conducted by the police.

Meng said he met other extraterrestrials after that.

"The aliens showed me a piece of crystal through which I saw forests, icebergs and fossil fuels on the Earth.

"They told me about the current situation facing Earth's resources and warned me about the importance of environmental protection," he said.

The aliens also told him that the offspring of him and the female extraterrestrial would appear 60 years from when they had sex.

Meng's account is met with both skepticism and belief - not only by the general public, but also the country's growing community of ufologists, who study reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

Chinese interest in, and sightings of, UFOs have been increasing, especially since one shut down Xiaoshan Airport in Zhejiang's provincial capital Hangzhou for about an hour on June 7, making world headlines.

The hovering object affected 18 flights and about 2,000 passengers.

There have been eight more mass sightings since, with the latest shutting down the airport in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region's Baotou city for about an hour on Sept 11, ABC News reported.

Unexplained sightings reported to the Beijing UFO Research Organization (BURO) have increased from about 100 in 2008 to more than 200 this year, says the organization's Secretary-General Zhou Xiaoqiang, who was also part of the Xiaoshan Airport investigation team.

"As material and cultural life improves in China, more people are able to use cameras to photograph and film the strange things they see," the 62-year-old says. "Also, media broadcasts are making the UFO a more popular concept in China, and the Internet makes it easier to file reports."

Zhou points out that sightings spike around festivals.

"That's because fireworks, lanterns, kites are everywhere. For example, a flashing triangular UFO could be a kite with lights," Zhou explains.

Zhou puts the chances that UFOs carry extraterrestrial visitors at "zero" and says there have been less than 10 abduction reports in the country.

Wang Sichao, a research fellow at the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Purple Mountain Observatory in Jiangsu's provincial capital Nanjing, says China's UFO reports are "more credible" than those in other countries. And there are fewer abduction reports.

"The aliens that are reported here are all different. Some are humanoid, some have large heads and eyes, some conduct sexual experiments, some speak Chinese and others use a kind of universal language.

But the one thing all these claims have in common is a lack of solid evidence."

Meng describes the extraterrestrials he says he met - he had a second encounter with others after he met the female - as speaking Chinese.

"The aliens showed me a piece of crystal, through which I saw forests, icebergs and fossil fuels on the Earth," he says. "They told me about the current situation facing Earth's resources and warned me about the importance of environmental protection."

But that's not all they told him, he says.

"They said that 60 years from then, there will be an alien born with the genes of an earthling farmer, and I can meet him or her," he says, referring to the offspring he says he sired with the extraterrestrial female.

While many within China's ufology community are skeptical of abduction reports such as Meng's, International Chinese UFO Association sighting investigation department head Zhang Jingping believes people should remain open-minded.

"We have invented aircraft, and we have landed on the moon. Why is it impossible that aliens are visiting us?" says the 42-year-old. Zhang has led research on Meng's case, including arranging for police to administer a lie detector test, which he says Meng passed.

Wang says China has about 60 researchers and 10 NGOs involved in serious UFO studies. The country's ufology community was put on the map in 2005, when Liaoning province's Dalian city was selected as the World UFO Conference site.

American nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman, who worked on classified government projects for 14 years and is perhaps the world's most celebrated ufologist, told China Daily at the conference that, "ufology is blossoming in China".

He has since been "impressed" by the serious discussions in the country's press, he says.

"China's space program is moving rapidly, and so is its serious discussion of UFOs," he says.

"I am indeed optimistic that Chinese researchers will be making more contributions to our knowledge of this very important phenomenon - visits to Planet Earth by intelligently controlled alien spacecraft."

Be they unexplained natural phenomenon or the cruisers of universe-trotting ETs - or something else entirely - UFOs are unlikely to stop appearing over China anytime soon.

And when they do appear, there will be a growing number of Chinese with their eyes on the skies.

NASA predicts alien life discovery soon

Chief scientist Ellen Stofan stated that we are likely to find evidence of alien life within 20 years.

Her comments came during a public panel in Washington D.C on Thursday in which NASA scientists had been discussing the likelihood that mankind will discover conclusive evidence of microbial alien life in the near future.

"I believe we are going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth in the next decade and definitive evidence in the next 10 to 20 years," Stofan said during the event.

The optimistic prediction is based on the recent discovery that oceans of liquid water might exist, not only on Jupiter's moon Europa, but also on Ganymede and Saturn's moon Enceladus.

"We now recognize that habitable zones are not just around stars, they can be around giant planets too," said Jim Green, NASA's director of planetary science.

"We are finding out the solar system is really a soggy place."

The confirmed discovery of extraterrestrial life would undoubtedly constitute one of the greatest, if not the greatest, scientific finds in human history.

"It's definitely not an if, it's a when," the panel concluded. - The Truth is Out There

Bobcat vs. Big Fish

We're all gonna die someday. Just you wait. Perhaps you'll die with dignity and you'll be missed; maybe not. If a bobcat came into your water bed and yanked you straight from your happy life into the depths of hell, that would be an okay way to die. A death with purpose.

While wistfully staring out at the ocean in Vero Beach, Fla. on Monday evening, John Bailey, a man who will surely die someday, too, saw what looked like a bobcat pulling a huge fish from the ocean. He photographed the scene and sent it to Local10.com, who would have you believe that the fish was in fact a shark:

The photographer said he noticed the bobcat staring at a shark in the water that was feeding on a smaller fish. The bobcat then leaped into the ocean, caught the shark and dragged it onto the beach.

"Initially, it was pretty quick," Bailey said. "Spotted it, pulled it up (and) the shark floundered for a while."

The bobcat eventually ran off, dropping its fish on the sand to suffocate. While the large fish was maybe not a shark, it's probably dead now. - Gawker

White Entity Encounter

Tallmadge, Ohio - 3/10/2015: It was around 3 or 4 a.m. when I left my cousins house. I live right down the road from her so I walk home very late feeling quite safe most times. I was walking in the street when I approached my house so I cross to the sidewalk and at this point I have full view of my backyard which is always pitch black. I live on the edge of a small forest. Neighbors aren't very close and I have nothing in my backyard except trees. Occasionally deer will wander there but they are dark brown and can clearly see them at night and what they look like. As I was saying, when I crossed to the sidewalk I was around 30-40 feet from my front door. Usually I cross the lawn, walk up the steps, go in. I reach the side walk and I see something white in the backyard. It was probably 100 ft away. I stopped on the sidewalk to look more intently. It didn't appear to be touching the ground and it was bright enough for me to notice. We have no animals in the neighborhood that are white. Ive never witnessed this before and I knew it wasn't an animal. What I saw in my backyard was round and bright and didn't appear to be touching the ground. This of course petrified me and I started walking faster to my lawn, as I moved the object seemed to move as well. I only stared at it for a total of 4-5 seconds before I wanted to get inside. It did appear to move slightly towards my direction but only when I started walking again did it move more swiftly. I'd say it moved at 6 ft per second. I got inside my house and quickly turned all the lights on. I have to say I wasn't brave enough to look outside again. I felt I may have been confronted by it. I also want to add I know that I do not have any evidence towards my story and that it is just my word and first hand encounter but I have not seen the white object since.

P.S. I was on no substance that would hinder my perceptions and I was not tired because I had slept that day till 6pm. I feel very confident that this was some sort of "alien" because I've had multiple inexplicable things that have happened to me. None included an encounter with something like this but I've been uneasy since these things have started. Hopefully I am not alone in my area and it will be looked into in some way. It's comforting to know I am not alone though. - MUFON CMS
