Daily 2 Cents: Teaching the Paranormal -- Reptilians Want To Steal Her Soul -- Loch Ness Monster is 'Spiritual'

Teaching the Paranormal

We can all agree that when it comes to the paranormal or supernatural, there are skeptics, but a San Antonio school claims it can teach people how to become psychics, mediums, and even spiritual healers.

“My goal is to empower you,” said Cathy Coker, Ph.D. “Empower the true spirit that's asleep.”

Coker runs the Coker Institute of Empowerment.

The school offers classes on how to train your brain and your body to connect with the so-called spiritual world.

Coker opened the school because she believes everyone has a supernatural ability, whether they know it or not.

“There are some people that don’t know what their gifts are,” said Coker.

That was true for student Adriana Evans-Garcia.

According to Evans-Garcia, she discovered her gift of “spiritual healing” though taking classes.

Evans-Garcia said she had a fibroid under her arm.

“It was the size of a quarter and now it's gone,” said Evans-Garcia.

Since discovering her ability, she claims she's performed many more acts of healing.

“I’ve seen people that cannot walk, be able to walk,” said Evans-Garcia. “I’ve seen people that cannot see, be able to see. Just a few weeks ago, I saw people be healed from seizures.”

But it all begs the question, how do you teach something that has no scientific proof or facts to back it up?

“What I usually teach people is to trust your intuition,” said Coker Institute teacher Sonia Beatrice. “We all have it. Many just don’t realize what's going on.”

Beatrice says she's a psychic.

She believes everyone can unleash their supernatural abilities by simply trusting their gut.

“Some of us have higher sensitivities and intuition, and others have less, but we still use it,” she said.

Coker hopes that her school grows from the couple of dozen students she has now.

However, in the end she knows she still has a lot of convincing to do.

“I would say come and just sit in one of my classes,” said Coker. “Just come and experience and then judge.”

The Coker Institute of Empowerment opened in January. The school charges $20 per class. - Fox San Antonio

Reptilians Want To Steal Her Soul

A British woman claims she has been abducted by aliens on repeated visits since she first made contact with them in the 1990s.

Samantha McDonald told a sceptical Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning how she has experienced supernatural activity from the early 1990s until last year.

She describes her extraterrestrial visitors as 'the reptilians' and 'the greys' - who she believes are working together.

She said: 'I've asked them what they want with me and they have said they had come to take me and my family. What they were after was my energy and soul essence.

'I don't know why they keep coming back to me. I think it is to do with my energies as I'm into healing and meditation.'

When asked to describe what happens when she's taken, Samantha said she has no recollection of her ordeals.

She explained: 'You don't always remember the abductions because you have memory swipes. You just feel like you have been somewhere but you don't actually remember it.' Read more at Daily Mail

Stalked by UFOs

In roughly the winter of 1998/1999, I was driving out of Lake Geneva, WI on HWY 50 (if I recall, that is the name of the main road out of town towards Kenosha) when I noticed a long ship, that was a straight line with a bright white light on each end and one in the middle. I didn't think much of it at first, although I did continue looking at it because it didn't resemble a plane in shape (a straight line like a cigar or something) and the lights looked different. I began to really pay attention when I turned off HWY 50 onto the side road that lead to my subdivision (I can't recall the county road but it leads to Tuscany-the subdivision I was living in at the time). The craft was originally headed parallel to the highway traveling in the direction towards Kenosha and away from Lake Geneva as I was, but when I turned 90 degrees onto the side road, the craft changed direction 90 degrees as well. I took note because aircraft don't turn 90 degrees like that. The aircraft seemed to follow me change in direction, and to be descending to lower altitudes and getting closer. I remember slowing down to basically a crawl in my vehicle to watch the craft, and as crazy as this may sound, the next thing I remember is coming to standing outside my car, behind the rear bumper, driver's side door was open, no recollection of getting out of the car, and now the large ship I had seen before is gone and there is a much smaller triangle sized ship hovering maybe 20 feet at most over the road and maybe 20 feet away horizontally. It was completely silent, a white light on each corner of the triangle and an orange or yellow light (it's been 16 years-hard to remember everything). I freaked out and jumped in my car and took up as fast as I could. Looking back in my rear and side view mirrors, the triangle craft was gone, but the large cigar type crafted I had previously viewed (but that was nowhere in sight while i observed the triangle craft) was on back up in the sky and was again traveling parallel to my car. I make another 90 turn into my subdivision of the side road and the craft did so as well. I made another 90 degree turn off the first road in my subdivision onto the second one (the one on which i lived-sienna circle) and again the craft changed direction with me. I ran into side as fast as I could. Upon entering the house, i looked out every window i could in each direction and saw neither ship. I proceeded to write down the entire event and (eventually) fell asleep. The next morning my girlfriend stopped by before school as she typically did and as soon as i woke up I excitedly started to tell her of the previous nights event. She told me to calm down and that I had been dreaming-reminding me I just woke up. I told her I wasn't dreaming it-to look on my dresser where I had written it all down. That was that until maybe 6 months later I was in Kenosha at a friends house. He was late returning and I began to worry about him and was looking out his back door towards the main road anxiously awaiting his return. That is when I noticed a small triangle craft (exactly like the one i saw before) hovering maybe 20 feet off the ground, not making a sound, and coming slowly-very slowly-towards the house. It flew across the back yard straight towards me and I called the other woman there who was there to come look and she too saw it in amazement. We watched it for a few minutes as it slowly approached the house, flew over it barely over the rooftop and proceeded across the street. Upon being direction above the house across the street, it changed direction 90 degrees and slowly hovered over all the houses on the opposite side of the street until it was out of sight. I kept this mostly to myself for the last 16 years because (a) I have no proof and (b) most people don't believe you or don't care. After seeing report after report and pic after pic of similar triangle ships, I figured I'd go ahead report mine too for whatever it's worth. Thanks - MUFON CMS

Loch Ness monster is “spiritual” say Buddhists

The Loch Ness Monster could be confirmed as a “spiritual entity” when a new Buddhist centre opens in the Highlands, it was revealed today.

Britain’s first Buddhist Lama, who is heading up the new project, said Nessie is a “naga” - a water deity which brings prosperity in the religion.

Spiritual director of the project, Lama Gelongmo Zangmo, aims to create a new spiritual centre overlooking the Loch in the Drumnadrochit area this autumn.

Formerly a nun, Lama Zangmo was the first woman in Britain to be chosen as a Lama in Britain in 2001.

Lama Zangmo said yesterday: “Nessie is a naga. We build the relationship with the naga, try to please them and don’t abuse the environment.

“If Nessie is treated well, she will bring prosperity.”

Tributes have already been made at the Samye Ling monastery in Dumfries-shire, a cone-shaped shelter has been made at the nearby River Esk where sacrifices have been left to the spirit.

Dr William Tuladhar-Douglas, Buddhism lecturer from the university of Aberdeen, said: “There’s about 2,500 years’ worth of history behind a gesture like that.”

Lama Zangmo added that Loch Ness has a “special magic”, likening it to the Buddhist retreat on the Holy Isle off Arran on the west coast.

She said: “This is such a beautiful part of the country and it has a very special feel to it.

“The natural setting is wonderful, how pure the air is and the sense of spirit in the Highlands is most magnificent and inspiring.

“The scenery is striking, the light is beautiful and being close to Loch Ness has a special magic about it.”

She has recently returned from several months in India at Bodhgaya, the most revered holy site in the religion, and was given her Highland post last week.

As well as offering yoga and meditation classes, a 10-foot peace pole, blessed by the Dalai Lama, will be displayed there.

She added: “I think there will be huge benefits from the centre, and not just for Buddhists.

“What Inverness lends itself well to is a place of retreat.

“It is a wonderful place for someone to come and do retreat and immerse themselves in learning, mindfulness and how to become less stressed.” - Scotsman
