Let's Help Our Children and Families


In light of the recent tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut and what seems to be an ever-increasing amount of adversity for children and families, I have decided to donate all proceeds received from book sales (Phantoms & Monsters: Cryptid Encounters), blog subscriptions (Phantoms & Monsters on Kindle) and site donations during December 2012 - January 2013. The funds will be presented to Save the Children - a highly rated organization I have sponsored previously. Save the Children crisis response has already begun working with the Sandy Hook families - Sandy Hook Children Receiving Support from Save the Children and Sandy Hook - LA Times. Save the Children has also been a big part of the relief effort in the wake of Hurricane Sandy and other areas of child strife worldwide.

I will be forwarding weekly contributions to Save the Children as amounts are recorded at Amazon.com and donations are received through Paypal. The first payment will be sent this week (for 12/1 - 12/18) in the amount of $55.

Please join me in the effort to help those who are the most vunerable when calamity strikes. Thanks...Lon
