Just the Facts?: Antarctic UFO Conspiracy Theories -- Britain's Voodoo Killings -- Sinister Face At Tintagel Castle

Antarctic UFO Attracts Conspiracy Theories

If it was simply a weather balloon that appeared over an Antarctic research station, then why hasn't anyone confirmed it?

A video has come out of the cold, showing an image of a possible UFO above the Neumayer-Station III research facility in Antarctica on August 10, according to livescience.com.

The circular object appears to hover over the station which conducts scientific research into geophysics, meteorology and atmospheric chemistry.

And, as one might expect, they use weather balloons to study the atmosphere over the South Pole.

Check out this video that uses enhancement techniques to clarify the UFO.

One aspect of this image that UFO commenters are pointing to is how the object is seen in just a few frames of the footage.

But Ben Radford, writing in Live Science, suggests that's not unusual when video is sped up. "That's what happens in time-lapse photography: objects that are not stationary for long periods of time only appear in a few frames. ... There's nothing mysterious about it."

Despite the plausibility of that argument, some -- like "UFO expert" Russell Tetrault, disagree and have their own theories about the Neumayer UFO, pictured closeup, below.

"I have examined the evidence and have concluded that this is a craft and that it is most likely of extraterrestrial origins," Tetrault is quoted by ringsidereport.com.

"There are some real dogs out there that have been calling this a balloon, but it is misinformation put forth by the government intended to squash this before the public wakes up to the fact that we are and have been getting visits from another race," said Tetrault, whom ringsidereport.com refers to as "highly respected in the UFO community."

Even if an official explanation is forthcoming about this South Pole UFO, it still won't satisfy everyone, especially those who prefer to believe that all unidentified or mysterious aerial objects probably originate from another planet or, even closer -- another dimension. - THP

Britain's voodoo killings: A wave of child abuse and killings linked to witchcraft

They appeared to be upright and decent members of our society. She dressed smartly, and had worked for Marks & Spencer.

He drove a top-of-the-range Mercedes and spent his spare time coaching a local women’s football team.

But unbeknown to their neighbours and friends, this couple living in their suburban London flat led a terrifying secret life.

They practised African black magic or voodoo, and on Christmas Day in 2010 they murdered a teenage boy in the belief he was a witch.

To rid the 15-year-old of his ‘demons’, the couple attacked him with knives, sticks, metal bars, a hammer, pliers and a chisel until he begged to die.

After three days of torture, Kristy Bamu was put in the bath and hosed down with cold water to get rid of the blood on his body. Horribly injured, he slid under the water as the bath filled up, and drowned.

Details of Kristy’s murder were revealed at a trial at London’s Old Bailey which ended earlier this year.

Football coach Eric Bikubi, 28, and his partner, Magalie Bamu, 29, Kristy’s sister, were each sentenced to life imprisonment for killing him at their eighth-floor apartment in Newham, East London.

The case was a shocking reminder of how witchcraft, with its roots in Africa, South Asia and the Caribbean, is now practised in the heart of our multicultural cities and towns.

Nine days before Kristy’s death, a mother disembowelled her four-year-old daughter to ‘exorcise evil spirits’ at her home in Hackney, London. Continue reading at dailymail

Sinister face seen at King Arthur's legendary birthplace

Surrounded by tales of fire-breathing dragons and white-bearded wizards, Tintagel Castle was perhaps the most appropriate place to spot a real-life gargoyle.

Or at least that's what Angela Smith thought she saw, when a sinister face appeared from the undergrowth, close to the legendary birthplace of King Arthur in Cornwall.

But the dog walker from Poole, Dorset, heaved a sigh of relief when she realised it was just the remains of a moss-covered tree stump, albeit one with a menacing 'face' and 'wing'.

Describing it as a cross between Harry Potter's nemesis Lord Voldemort and a flying monkey from The Wizard of Oz, the alarmed holidaymaker said:

'When I first saw the tree stump I did a double take, as it gave me such a shock.

'Its ugly, angry face reminded me exactly of the gargoyles you see on top of old buildings in gothic films.

'I love nature and also architecture, so I am always looking at the world around me, including the shapes and colours of plants and trees, as well as the designs on the exteriors of buildings.

'But I certainly didn't expect to see something like this!' - dailymail

British TV psychic 'tried to kill twin daughters, 4, with a kitchen knife'

A British psychic who shot to fame on TV shows stabbed his four-year-old twin daughters then leapt out of a window, it is claimed.

Graham Bishop, 58, has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly attacking his daughters with a kitchen knife then stabbing himself at a hospital in Denmark.

Bishop’s wife, who is her 20s, called police who kicked down the door in the room where his daughter Natalie, who has a long term illness, was being treated.

The psychic, who has appeared in Danish TV shows, then jumped out of a window at Rigshospitalets paediatric centre, in Copenhagen and suffered injuries in the fall.

Bishop, who emigrated from Swindon, Wiltshire 12 years ago, was today being kept under police guard at hospital where he is being treated.

His two daughters were in a critical condition in intensive care but they are now improving, police said.

Police inspector Lau Thygesen from Copenhagen Police told the Copenhagen Post after the incident: ‘We are treating it is a family tragedy.’

Bishop claims to be a psychic healer who can cure people when he is possessed by the spirit of a German physician called ‘Dr Karl’.

He has appeared on Danish television shows such as ‘Klarsyn’, ‘Ă…ndernes Magt’, ‘Troldmandsskolen’ amd ‘Ă…nderne vender tilbage’.

Bishop claims that Dr Karl is his ‘main spirit guide’ who uses the psychic’s body to help heal people in need.

He claims to have healed his daughter of blindness, and cured large numbers of people across the world by laying his hands on them.

His website gives a profile of his daughter, which describes how seven aneurisms were found in her stomach after she was born.

She had emergency treatment and had suffered brain damage, causing her to lose her sight and movement down her left side.

Bishop writes on his site: 'After no improvement with these, I asked Spirit for help, even that it was a risk my own life (I was in a very bad state of health myself), but what father would not do that for his child ? I went into trance and Spirit Dr Karl was able to restore her sight and correct the paralysis, unfortunately he was not able to repair the kidney.'

Alter-ego: The 19th century German physician called 'Dr Karl' Bishop claims he can channel
It continues: ‘The first time Spirit Dr Karl undertook healing using my body was in 1992, since which time he has helped many thousands of people across Europe and the USA.

‘He told them his name was Dr Karl and he was born in 1848 into a family of doctors in Prussia (now part of Germany). He showed a keen interest and skill from a very early age and performed his first ‘’unofficial’’ operation on a person at the age of 12 years.’

‘Since I ‘’woke-up’’ to my own awareness and realised the depth of spiritual knowledge and abilities I have, my whole life changed in ways I could never have imagined.

‘For many years the spiritual things were second place to my successful career in computing, over the years the balance shifted and in 1995 the spiritual became the focus of my work and life.

‘All of my life I felt a bit of an outsider and I have experienced many things that seemed to have no practical explanation.’

A Foreign Office spokesman told the Mail Online: ‘We are aware of the hospitalisation of a British national in Copenhangen on August 12.

‘We stand ready to provide consular assistance if necessary.’ - dailymail
