Pennsylvania MUFON - Philadelphia UFO Awareness Day 2010


PA MUFON PRESENTS PHILADELPHIA UFO AWARENESS DAY 2010
The PA Chapter of the Mutual UFO Network is holding a free Public UFO Awareness Day on Sunday, July 18, 2010 from Noon until 6:00 pm GERM Books & Gallery in Fishtown.

Increased awareness leads to increased reports of UFO activity. Since the now famous Bucks County UFO incidents of 2008, Southeastern PA has become a hotbed of increased reported UFO activity. For the third consecutive year, The Pennsylvania Chapter of the Mutual UFO Network (or PA MUFON) is hosting "Philadelphia UFO Awareness Day" at GERM Books & Gallery, 2005 Frankford Avenue in the heart of Fishtown, Philadelphia, PA. Headlining this year’s free event of speakers is Dr. David M. Jacobs of Temple University. Dr. Jacobs, accomplished scholar and author, is the foremost authority on UFOs & Alien Abductions. Speaking along with Dr. Jacobs are 5 of the area’s authorities on UFOs & Alien Abductions: PA MUFON Chief Investigator, Bob Gardner; PA MUFON State Section Directors, Mike “Doc” Melton & Bill Weber; and independent UFO researchers Mark Passio & Chris Augustin. PA MUFON Field Investigators will also be on hand to take confidential reports of UFO activity from the public.

GERM Books, which has sponsored the monthly Philadelphia UFO MeetUp Group for the last 5 years, is a truly alternative independent bookstore that provides access to ideologically unpopular books addressing difficult social topics. MUFON established in 1969 is one of the oldest and the largest UFO investigative organizations in the United States. MUFON has more than 3000 members worldwide with a majority of its members in the USA. MUFON operates a worldwide network of Regional & State Directors and certified Field Investigators to confidentially investigate UFO sighting Reports.
